There’s no excuse for a woman hitting a man. Once a woman starts the fight with violence, a man has the right to finish it the way a man fights. No woman has the right to hit a man, and no one has the right to blame the man for the injuries a woman receives for starting a fight she can’t win.

Violence from a woman can’t be stopped by standing there and taking it, or trying to walk away. An angry woman will chase you down, and keep the violence coming until you do something about it.

  • Kat,

If you piss a dog off he might bite you, and if he does should we all blame the dog, or the person that provoked the dog? If Jayde would have used some self control, and approached Joe in a civilized manner, there would have been no violence. If a woman throws a temper tantrum, and gets violent with a man, like slapping him, she can plan on a violent response if the man has the same lack of self control that she does.

The bottom line is this. Whoever starts it, is the aggressor, or perpetrator, and the other person is the victim. Joe was the victim, and Jayde needs to go to jail. When you excuse Jayde’s behavior when she gets violent, but not Joe’s for defending himself, you are being sexist and discriminating against men for protecting themselves. Women know men are stronger, so we cannot excuse a woman who gets violent with a man, and then he violently responds, just like we cannot excuse a woman who gets violent with a dog, and then the dog violently responds by biting back. It’s called the law of nature, and it’s not going to change just because you want to remain delusional.

Women like Jayde need to understand they must take responsibility for their own actions.

Here’s a twist. Joe says he only pulled Jayde’s hair, and the security tapes back up his version of the story, not Jayde’s. Eye witnesses also backed up Joe’s version of events, not Jayde’s. Jayde made up the rest to justify her bad behavior, so she wouldn’t have to take responsibility for her actions, because she knows prejudice and sexist people like you will excuse her behavior because she’s a girl, but I must remind you we don’t live in the 1800s anymore. If we did live in the 1800s women would not be able to vote, work, or hit a man without a man’s permission. If women want to be equal then they must be held to the same standard as men when they act badly. No excuses.

  • Alex,

You justify what Jayde did, throwing a drink on Joe and slapping him (violence), by saying Joe should have shown less restraint after being attacked without warning? It’s not like this happens to Joe every day. Joe isn’t trained to respond to psycho women. Joe responded the way a man would respond to defend himself, before the shock wears off, and he can think straight again.

Jayde should have shown restraint. Once Jayde lost control, so did Joe. So Joe is excused, Jayde needs to go to jail.
