I am convinced Brittany Murphy suffers from some sort of mental illness. Here she is kissing her husband Simon Monjack. I wonder if Brittany can taste Simon’s triple cheese burger, and extra thick milkshake he just ate for lunch.

Brittany Murphy is Difficult to Work With

Brittany Murphy is in Los Angeles working on her new movie Across the Hall. A source said:

"She’s extremely difficult. When she gets to the set, it comes to a grinding halt. She’s so hot and cold, you never know. Murphy insists on having diagonally cut peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with the crusts removed. She needs one every hour. It’s painstaking, her assistant takes about a half an hour making each one."

Brittany’s creepy husband, Simon Monjack, has been intervening on the set of the movie so much, producers had to have a meeting to figure out how to deal with him. Simon and Brittany are shown above at Fashion Week in New York yesterday. He’s such a dreamboat. Simon is like that white trash relative that comes to stay, but never seems to leave.

A source who used to work for Brittany Murphy says Brittany is convinced "a high-powered Hollywood player" is stalking her. Back in April, her then boyfriend and now husband Simon Monjack disappeared for 10 days and Brittany claimed he had been kidnapped by agents of her stalker. However, the kidnapping exactly coincides with the dates that Monjack, a British citizen, was reportedly jailed by U.S. immigration for overstaying his visa.

"When he came back, he had head injuries," says the former insider. "He was pale and sometimes had trouble standing." Not only that, but the former staffer also claims Murphy said she was unable to pay him because the money had been used for ransom … Monjack, a screenwriter, is not short of enemies. Several anonymous sources have posted unflattering stories on the Internet about his past relationships. On June 13, a man identifying himself as Arturo Globenfeldt posted a message on Monjack’s Imdb.com page claiming he owes him $16 million in film investment money.

So the guy gets kicked out of the country for 10 days and then tells Brittany Murphy he was kidnapped and she believes him. This is actually scary. It sounds just like a Law and Order episode. Monjack’s story would have been more believable if he had said he had been kidnapped by aliens and their leader was Tom Cruise.

It is difficult to believe this story given the unnamed, former employee, who didn’t get paid source that was used. If Murphy was really that stupid she would have become a Scientologist years ago.

Poor Brittany Murphy is caught in a tangled web of lies, deceit, and an ugly boyfriend who became her husband to stay in the U.S. No wonder he kept taking her shopping. Here’s more:

DID Brittany Murphy marry Simon Monjack to keep him from being deported? The National Enquirer reports Monjack was arrested on expired visa charges in the middle of the night on March 27 – just over a month before the couple’s rushed marriage. The tabloid also hits the actress’ tubby hubby with allegations of bad debts and sleazy business schemes, which sources told Page Six the "Clueless" cutie knew nothing about. Monjack’s lawyer told us the charges are being made by "disgruntled ex-girlfriends" and that immigration lawyers concluded the marriage had no bearing on his visa status. Murphy’s rep had no comment.

Actress Brittany Murphy recently married screenwriter Simon Monjack in a secret ceremony.

The 29-year-old Clueless star, who called off an an engagement to another man just over eight months ago, was spotted partying with Monjack at the Playboy event at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, where they were both wearing wedding rings.

â€œ[Murphy and Montjack] were drinking Crown Royal, and [they] didn’t want photographers to take pictures of their rings because they were waiting to make a formal announcement on Monday.â€

The source adds, â€œThey were dancing in the V.I.P. section and around DJ Reach’s booth. They looked very excited, happy and jovial.â€

This is the first marriage for Murphy, who also briefly dated Ashton Kutcher.

This guy must be loaded. Every time I see Brittany with her sugar daddy she is loading up on more jewelry and clothes. The guys who are willing to wear the pink shirt are the easiest to train.

Brittany Murphy and Joe Macaluso, engaged since last New Year’s Eve, have broken off their engagement. The two “have amicably ended their engagement. They remain close friends and wish each other much happiness,” a rep for Murphy said.

Last Sunday, Murphy showed up at the Teen Choice Awards without her engagement ring. Asked about her wedding plans in the press room, the actress became evasive before saying, “Everything is going wonderful, thank you. I’m just living every moment, you know, enjoying my day.”

Murphy, 28, who had met Macaluso – who is a best boy grip responsible for lighting and electricity on a movie set – while filming Little Black Book. After that film wrapped production, she asked him to the movies for their first date. The couple went on 17 dates before they shared their first kiss. They became engaged on Dec. 31, 2005.

“It felt right,” the actress said in January. “I love being in love.”

It was the second engagement for Murphy, who was previously set to marry manager Jeff Kwatinetz. Murphy, who’s appeared in 2002’s 8 Mile with Eminem and this year’s The Groomsmen with Edward Burns, is currently filming Tinker Bell, an animated film in which she costars with Kristin Chenoweth.
