Britney Spears wants us all to feel sorry for her. The following quotes come from a 90-minute documentary called Britney: For The Record. The show will air in the U.S. on November 30 on MTV, and in the U.K. December 1 on Sky1. The Sun reports:

A WEEPING Britney Spears has admitted her new image is a SHAM - and claims she would feel freer if she was in prison.

The troubled pop princess moans that her new controlled lifestyle after hitting rock bottom last year feels “like Groundhog Day”.

Britney, 26, stunned delighted fans by bouncing back from her breakdown. But in a new fly-on-the-wall documentary she tearfully admits: “There’s no excitement, there’s no passion.

“I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail you know there’s the time when you’re gonna get out. But in this situation, it’s never ending. It’s just like Groundhog Day every day.”

Britney, who performs on X Factor next weekend, believes she is still “paying” for her public meltdown when she shaved her head and lost custody of her two sons.

She says:

“I think it’s too in control. If I wasn’t under the restraints I’m under, I’d feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it’s like they hear but they’re really not listening. If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I’m having to pay for a long time. I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free.”

She adds:

“I think I’ve learnt my lesson now and enough is enough.”

It took Britney’s father legally taking control of Britney and her life to finally stop her erratic behavior. That same behavior landed Britney in the psychiatric unit, and cost her custody of her two boys. Now Britney’s career is back on track, and she has visitation with her sons again. I’d say she still has a few more hills to climb before she’s well enough to take care of herself.

If Britney has to pay a price to get well again, she should be thankful. Her new life is better than being dead.

On Sunday Jayden James Federline had to be rushed to the emergency room after becoming “unresponsive.” Jayden was on a family trip with Britney Spears Kentwood in Louisiana at the time. A source said:

“One minute Britney and her sons were relaxing and enjoying their first visit to Kentwood in months, and the next minute Jayden had fallen ill. He was vague and unresponsive so Britney dialled an ambulance. But she was told it would take half an hour to arrive, and she was best trying to get Jayden to the hospital herself. They tore off so fast it was incredible.”

The trip was the first time Britney has been allowed to take her sons out of Los Angeles since Kevin was given custody. Kevin Federline is flying to Louisiana to be with his son.

A source says Jayden had a seizure at about 3 pm on Sunday. It’s possible that Jayden may have had seizures before, but perhaps Kevin didn’t mention it to Britney.

The Mayo clinic did a study on children with seizures, and found that a high fat diet, low in saturated fat, but high is healthy fats, helped substantially decrease seizures without medication. The high fat diet was able to be discontinued when the child reached school age in most cases. It appeared the nerves in the brain and spinal cord needed the extra fat to form the insulating sheath found around some nerves. Maybe this could help Jayden.

UPDATE: Britney Spears gave an official statement on her website:

"Jayden James Federline was admitted to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 9th. Doctors concluded he had a reaction to something he ingested. He is expected to be discharged tomorrow."

Jayden didn’t have a seizure. We’re still not sure if Jayden had a tummy ache, or an allergic reaction to the food he ate.

Britney Spears appeared with Madonna onstage on Thursday in Los Angeles. Justin Timberlake also appeared.

Britney looks incredible. Madonna seems desperate to pull out all the stops to deflect attention from her messy divorce. However, Madonna’s special friend Alex Rodriquez was in the audience helping to fuel rumors they are a couple.
