The National Enquirer is claiming to have exclusive video of Sarah Palin’s daughter using drugs. I’m assuming they mean Bristol Palin. Even though I don’t believe they have the video, and should be sued for publishing a false story, why are reporters still digging up dirt on Sarah’s kids? I guess for some family is never off limits. She’s still a minor.

Earlier today Gawker broke Federal law by posting harmless email communication from Sarah’s Yahoo account. The emails were obtained illegally by a hacker, and Gawker made it clear the emails were obtained illegally. Many are now calling for Gawker staff involved to be arrested. John McCain’s campaign pointed out Gawker, and the hacker, broke Federal law, and asked the emails be deleted. McCain’s camp also notified the proper authorities. Sarah’s personal email was hacked by someone calling themselves Anonymous, and the act was an invasion of her personal privacy. The worst offense was that Gawker posted personal email adresses, as well as Bristol’s phone number. Bristol is only 17 years-old.

It seems some are hell bent on destroying Sarah, however, but she seems to be doing fine. She’s a strong woman.

To date I haven’t heard Sarah whining about the attacks on her family, and herself, like I heard from Obama. A web site was even setup by Obama to specifically defend against such attacks. Palin is like a duck. She just lets the attacks roll off her back.

Sarah Palin has so much star power she is eclipsing Barack Obama’s celebrity spotlight. Women want change, and Sarah is the majority’s voice. In new polls out today, 58% of voters view Palin favorably, which is up from 52% less than a week ago. Even more surprising this morning is the fact that Obama and John McCain are each viewed favorably by 57% of voters, but Palin is viewed favorably by 58%, which is better than both Presidential candidates. Joe Biden is viewed favorably by 48%.

Not surprisingly, fifty-one percent (51%) of Americans believe that most biased reporters are trying to hurt Palin’s campaign. Martin Luther King, Jr. said correctly, don’t judge a person by the color of their skin, or gender, but by the content of their character. Palin doesn’t have associations with criminals, America hating racists, or terrorists, but Obama does. Palin has family issues that are shared by most of America, and she’s managing those issues effectively, which is more than most of us can hope for.

The Palin Vice President pick has also improved perceptions of John McCain. A week ago, just before he introduced his running mate, just 42% of Republicans had a Very Favorable opinion of their party’s nominee. That figure jumped to 54% by this Friday morning. Among unaffiliated voters, favorable opinions of McCain have increased by eleven percentage points in a week-from 54% before the Palin announcement to 65% today.

It seems everyone, including Obama, are comparing Obama and Palin’s experience to be President, when she is only running as the Vice Presidential candidate, and he is running for the Presidential spot. It seems, McCain has risen above both as most qualified, and Palin has captured more attention from those in America who want her brand of change.

A note of clarification. Earlier in the week we ran a story about alleged pictures of Bristol Palin caught drinking underage. Readers in Alaska have helped us determine the girl in the pictures is in fact Sadie Johnston, Levi Johnston’s sister, and not Bristol Palin as we mistakenly reported.

Lynne Spears denied lies false reports that claimed she sent a gift to Bristol Palin addressed from Jamie Lynn Spears. Lynne says those reports are "completely untrue," aka lies. Curt Handling, Lynne’s publicist, said:

"I just got off the phone with Lynne. I can tell you that she hasn’t sent her any gifts, but that she does support Sarah and, of course, can empathize with their situation."

This is just one more media lie about Sarah Palin’s daughter, Bristol, that has been exposed. Desperation isn’t pretty.

Sarah Palin has completely shutout Barack Obama by taking over his spotlight. Sarah’s face is featured on 4 tabloids this week, including Us Weekly, the National Enquirer, People, and OK! magazine. Obama generated his own buzz, but it was too serious with his associations with America hating racists, federal criminals, and terrorists. Sarah has family drama, and that’s bread and butter scandal for the tabloids. Americans understand family drama, which is why Sarah is now a bigger celebrity than Barack.

The real star, who’s face didn’t make the cover, is Sarah’s underage pregnant daughter Bristol Palin, who had alleged pictures of her drinking underage. Like Jamie Lynn Spears, Bristol could probably get a hefty pay day for telling her story to a tabloid, and for selling the exclusive rights to pictures of her and her newborn baby.

Sarah announced that Levi Johnston (pictured below), the boyfriend of Sarah’s 17-year-old pregnant daughter Bristol, is going to join the Palin family at the Republican National Convention.

This is an election year for the history books.

Alleged pictures of Bristol Palin, who is five months pregnant and 17 years-old, have surfaced showing her drinking alcohol while she is underage. Bristol is the daughter of Sarah Palin, who is John McCain’s vice presidential running mate. It appears Sarah has a teenager in her family, who is a lot like many teenagers in many normal families. This gives women who have troubled teenagers another reason to identify with Sarah, and this gives Sarah credibility when she speaks about dealing with troubled teenager issues. Experience matters to mothers and women in America.

The father of Bristol Palin’s baby has been identified as Levi Johnston (18), pictured below, who has also been called Levi Wallner by other media reports. Levi and Bristol have been dating for about a year in their hometown Wasilla, Alaska. On his MySpace Levi says:

"I’m a f - - -in’ redneck" who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes, but I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some s- - - and just f - - -in’ chillin’ I guess."

"Ya f - - - with me I’ll kick your a$$."

On his MySpace Levi says he’s "in a relationship," but also says, "I don’t want kids."

Which means he wasn’t expecting Bristol to get pregnant. Maybe the condom broke, or maybe he forgot to wear one if both Levi and Bristol were drinking at the time. This sounds like so many teenagers I knew growing up.

Bristol may not be the perfect daughter, but because of Bristol, her mother Sarah can relate to average women and mothers across America.

Update: Some readers from Alaska say the girl that is drinking is Sadie Johnston, aka Mercede, Levi’s sister, and not Bristol. As is stated at the start of the article, the pictures were “alleged” to be of Bristol. We have found more pictures that prove the pictures are not of Bristol, but in fact are of Sadie as the readers said. We are happy the truth was revealed by people in Alaska who care about the Palin family as we do.
