The Inglorious Basterds trailer has finally hit the Internet. The movie stars Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, BJ Novak, Mike Myers, Michael Fassbender. The movie will hit theaters August 21, 2009. Here’s the synopsis of the movie:

In German-occupied France, Shosanna Dreyfus witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa. Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris, where she forges a new identity as the owner and operator of a cinema. Elsewhere in Europe, Lieutenant Aldo Raine organizes a group of Jewish soldiers to engage in targeted acts of retribution. Known to their enemy as "The Basterds," Raine’s squad joins German actress and undercover agent Bridget Von Hammersmark on a mission to take down the leaders of The Third Reich. Fates converge under a cinema marquee, where Shosanna is poised to carry out a revenge plan of her own.

This movie sounds exactly like the Daniel Craig movie Defiance below, which was released on January 16, and stirred up all sorts of controversy. We’ll see if Inglorious Basterds stirs up the same controversy.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were finally seen with the twins Knox Leon Jolie-Pitt and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt, as well as Shiloh, and the other kids. The wonder twins have such pudgy cheeks. Cute!

Mickey Brett (above left), who is a former bodyguard for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, is writing a tell all book about the couple. It appear Mickey can write the book legally, because he didn’t sign a confidentiality agreement. The book is said to contain a lot of personal information, including details about the couple’s sex life, and other information that Pitt and Jolie don’t want him talking about. A source says:

"Mickey knows everything about Angelina. It’s going to be one of the most explosive books ever written. It will include all the sordid details of how they (Pitt and Jolie) got together while Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston."

Mickey was fired as the couple’s head of security in 2008. Can’t wait to see how Pitt, Jolie, and Aniston say about the book when it comes out.

Brad Pitt had his zipper undone in Paris. Yes his fly was open, and no one told him. Brad was in Paris on Thursday to attend a photo call for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which earned 13 Oscar nominations. We recommended seeing that movie.

Brad said of the movie:

"This is a great honor for the movie, and I’m especially happy for David Fincher [the director], for without him there would be no Ben Button."

Without the original late great author F. Scott Fitzgerald, there would be no story or movie. How about a shout out to him?

I know, everyone is too busy staring at Brad’s open zipper.

Ryan Seacrest attempted to get an interview with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards, but they completely ignored him in the video above.

Seacrest talked about the diss on his KIIS-FM radio show Monday:

Seacrest had gotten up next to the actress and beau Brad Pitt , hoping to score an interview on E!’s pre-show. "Hi, guys. Brad? Angelina?" he said, but they ignored his advance and brushed by him. Jolie and Pitt did stop for NBC’s Billy Bush, but Seacrest said, "there’s an NBC deal there. NBC hosted the Globes, and they have a deal to talk to the people who come to the Globes."Here’s what I realized when I went down there," Seacrest went on. "I realized quickly that it’s against the rules to walk down onto the carpet from the platform."

There’s a bit more than breaking the rules going on. It appears Pitt and Jolie ignore those that disrespect them. At the Golden Globes last year Seacrest got to interview the couple (video below), and Seacrest called Jolie "cold" afterwards on his radio show for not being more willing to answer his questions. Jolie’s mom was gravely ill at the time. Seacrest angered Jolie with his comments afterwards, and now it appears she is holding a grudge, which is something Jolie knows how to do really well.
