According to In Touch, Gavin Rossdale and a gay pop entertaining who called himself Marilyn had a love affair in the 1980s. In Touch reports:

Though Boy George broke the news of Gavin, 43, and Marilyn’s tumultuous romance in his 1995 book, Take It Like a Man, Gavin denied it, stating, “I wasn’t dating Marilyn. We were, and still are, good friends.” At the time, Marilyn denied the affair, as well. But today he says he did it only because Gavin asked him to. “He was just becoming successful in America,” Marilyn explains. “I agreed to lie against every grain of my being.” Now, Marilyn wants to set the record straight. In an exclusive interview with In Touch, the British pop icon details the love affair that spanned the early ’80s. “We were together five years,” Marilyn says. “But it felt like 40.”

Gavin’s rep denies the story.

In the 1980s a lot of performers felt they needed to glam up like David Bowie to fit into the music scene. Gavin now has a solid marriage to Gwen Stefani since September 14, 2002, and the couple have two beautiful children, while Marilyn is left with an empty life and no real career, so it’s makes sense that Marilyn would take advantage of an old friend to sell a story for some much needed cash.

Boy George is being transferred to a less secure Category C cell block, because prisoners and guards are giving him special treatment because of his celebrity status. An insider said from the jail:

“The governors were taken aback by how popular he was. A lot of the guys are of the age when they remember what a big star he was and how good the Culture Club songs were. But some officers were being too kind and giving him smokes. It’s ironic that he was worried about getting beaten up in Pentonville but all that happened was people showered him with so much attention and kindness that they had to move him anyway.”

George seems to be more popular in jail, than out.

George has already been assigned an easy job, which upset other inmates because of his special treatment. George tried to get even more special treatment on Friday when he told a court he would be targeted because he’s gay. Uh huh, riiiiiight.

The inmate, who snapped George on a mobile phone, said:

“A celeb is a celeb in here. People love fame. Everyone remembers Culture Club.”

George has more fans than enemies in jail. He should be thankful for that.

Boy George was found guilty of falsely imprisoning a male escort in 2007. The judge then sentenced George to 15 months in jail. The judge said to George:

“In my view there can be no doubt that your premeditated callous and humiliating handcuffing and detention of Mr Carlsen shocked, degraded and traumatized him. He was deprived of his liberty and human dignity without warning or proper explanation to him of its purpose, length or purported justification. You assaulted the victim of this offense whom you had invited into your home by handcuffing him to your bed and inflicting on him additional wholly gratuitous violence beyond that needed merely to secure physical restraint and detention.”

George should find that quote very colorful for the book he will no doubt write after getting out of jail.

It looks like the stress of being convicted of falsely imprisoning a male escort has really gotten to Boy George. He’s eating his emotions.
