drew carey engaged Drew Carey Got Engaged

Drew Carey (49) just got engaged to Nicole Jaracz, who recently graduated from culinary school. This is a match made in heaven, because Drew likes to eat, and his fiance is a great cook. Drew is a former U.S. Marine, and has taken over for Bob Barker as the new host of The Price is Right. Drew said:

"It’s like meeting the right girl," he said. "This is a really good fit. I’m really comfortable here and it seems like I should have been doing this a long time ago."

Congratulations Drew. You deserve as much happiness as you’ve given us over the years.

Drew Carey’s Pain Comes With The Price

drew carey arm fm Drew Careys Pain Comes With The Price

TMZ just posted these photos of Drew Carey’s injuries from a "Price Is Right" rehearsal. That thing looks like meatloaf…or Tara Reid’s stomach!

The new "Price Is Right" emcee showed off his battle wounds while on KROQ’s "Kevin & Bean" show in Los Angeles this morning. Back on Friday, Drew got his arm caught in the revolving turntable on stage while rehearsing for the Grocery Game. He was back on set later that day in a soft cast, joking around with crew members and showing off his battle wounds.

You just know that this probably happened to Bob Barker too…only it wasn’t his arm and it wasn’t an accident. Ewww. The price is wrong b-tch!

Drew Carey to Replace Bob Barker on The Price is Right

Share

drew carey price is right Drew Carey to Replace Bob Barker on The Price is Right

Drew Carey announced yesterday on David Letterman that he will replace Bob Barker as the host of The Price is Right. He said:

"I realize what a big responsibility this is," he said. "It’s only a game show, but it’s the longest-running game show in American television and I plan to keep it that way."

"It’s a done deal. I’m the new host of "The Price Is Right.’"

Drew Carey used to have several shows, one of which paid him $2 million per episode. Carey has had several hit shows, but he has a clogged left anterior descending (LAD) artery which could cause him to have a fatal heart attack, so he has reduced his activities. He could have surgery using the internal mammary artery to bypass the blockage in his LAD, which would mean he could avoid a heart attack, and host The Price is Right for many years. Either way, he will most likely host the show for the rest of his life. He’s a nice guy, is actually a funny comedian, and can commit to the show for the rest of his life.

Rosie O’Donnel already blamed everyone but herself for not getting the job, but let’s take a look at why. She’s not funny, has a militant lesbian agenda, she prematurely quit The View before she had completed her 1 year contract obligation, and she makes inappropriate and offensive remarks daily. Even if The Price is Right used a monkey instead of Rosie it would still have been the right choice. I’d rather punch myself in the balls for an hour every day than watch The Price is Right with Rosie hosting it.

Rosie O’Donnell Will NOT Host The Price Is Right

rosie odonnell price is right Rosie ODonnell Will NOT Host The Price Is Right

Rosie O’Donnell has been in talks to replace Bob Barker as host of The Price is Right and even met with producers last week, but in a video posted late last night on her website she says she probably won’t take the job because she doesn’t want to move to Los Angeles. She says:

"Here’s the thing. I don’t really need a job. I’m in a weird position. I don’t need the money. I know you’re not allowed to talk about money in America, but I’m just saying I don’t. So to get my entire family uprooted from their lives and move them across the country so that I can have a fantasy childhood indulgence job just doesn’t seem fair. They all are in school, they have friends, we love their school, we love our community, our house, our life, our home. If they were able to do it in New York it would be a different story. But it looks like it ain’t gonna happen."

Whenever Rosie says she turned down a gig it really means the other side of the negotiations wouldn’t do something Rosie really wanted, like give her the home phone numbers of the models on the show. Rosie’s other excuse was that her domestic partner was jealous because all the Price is Right models wanted her hot body.

Rosie O’Donnell Versus Bob Barker

Share

Rosie O’Donnell wants Bob Barker’s job. Word is that Barker does not Rosie to replace him on The Price is Right, so Rosie took out this full page ad in Thursday’s Variety to remind him that she has a life-sized Plinko Board at home.

Sounds like Rosie needs to cut back on that inverted yoga-swing thing.
