Billy Ray Cyrus commented on his daughter, 16 year-old Miley Cryus, pole dancing at the Teen Choice Awards on August 10 while singing Party in the USA. Billy Ray said:

“You know what? I just think that Miley loves entertaining people. She loves singing and songwriting.”

“I always tell her to love what you’re doing and stay focused for the love of the art, and not worry so much about opinion.”

“I give my kids a lot of freedom to make the art they wanna make, and make it in their own voice. I think it’s important.”

Billy Ray believes he is a good parent as long as Miley is drawing crowds, and making money for the family. Strippers do the very same thing, on the very same stripper pole. Did Billy Ray hear the interviewer say “stripper pole?” Once your daughter is on the pole Billy Ray, you are a failure as a parent just as Chris Rock said in the video below. Entertaining men 18 and over, and teasing boys 17 and younger, with a stripper pole dance is too adult for a Disney role model.

We expect to see a lot more exposure of Miley after she turns 18 years-old, which we’re sure daddy will encourage.

Billy Ray Cryrus was on Larry King Live talking about how much he approves of Miley Cyrus dating Nick Jonas again.

In fact, Billy Ray says he was the one who gave a Jonas Brothers CD to the President of Walt Disney records, and said:

"Man you better take a listen to these Jonas Brothers. Man these guys are great."

Billy Ray is trying to say the Jonas Brothers would not have been discovered by Disney if he hadn’t put in a good word. We wonder if Disney execs remember it the same way.

Former super stars Sara Evans, Jessica Simpson, and Billy Ray Cyrus will be performing at Sea World in Texas.

Billy Ray Cyrus appeared on the Bonnie Hunt show, which will air April 16. Bonnie asked Billy his reaction to the racist, and rude, comments Jamie Foxx made about his 16 year-old daughter Miley Cyrus. Bill said:

“It was hurtful, there wasn’t nothing funny about it, and quite frankly, I think if I said those things about his daughter he might not find it so comedic.”

While we do believe Miley brought a lot of this upon herself, and she has even been embroiled in her own racist Asian eye controversy, we believe Foxx went way overboard with is comments.

Jamie Foxx appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Tuesday night, and Leno asked about the statement Foxx made about Miley, but not before some ribbing. Leno introduced Foxx, who is promoting his movie The Soloist, and Leno said:

"Foxx does one of the best portrayals of mental illness in this movie I have ever seen-I don’t mean that in a bad way!"

Kevin Eubanks, the band leader on the show, added:

"Jamie’s catchin’ it these days! Jamie can’t do nothing right these days."

Leno then asked Foxx:

"Did you say something inappropriate?"

"Yeah. I so apologize to Miley, and this is sincere. I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don’t mean any of it, and sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far."

"I have a radio show. We’re really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn’t mean it maliciously. You know I’m a comedian. You know my heart."

"Miley, I apologize, so I’ll call you. I got a daughter too, so I completely understand."

*Clap clap clap* That was some academy award worthy acting, but we’ll take it, since Miley only deserves the same half hearted apology that she gave in her Asian eyes scandal.

According to reports, the Miley Cyrus is trying to get fired from Hannah Montana, so she can pursue a solo acting and singing career. Daddy Billy Ray Cyrus is reportedly helping Miley. Both Miley and Billy Ray have been showing up to the set really late, delaying production, and upsetting everyone off on the set.

Billy Ray said he and Miley will do twelve more Hannah Montana episodes then they will be done. Disney heard this and exercised a clause in the contract to add six more episodes, and informed Billy’s agent.
