Keri Russell and Jennifer Garner went for a walk on New York’s Upper West Side yesterday morning. Keri brought her 6 month-old son River, and Jennifer brought her daughter Violet who is 2 years-old.

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, Jennifer appeared on Keri’s show Felicity, where she met Scott Foley, who she married and then divorced before moving on to Ben Affleck.

I thought about asking who you think is cuter, but both of these kids are adorable, and I don’t want to give anyone a headache trying to decide.

Ben Affleck was a little cranky when the paparazzi snapped him, but he’s got a soft spot for his daughter Violet. Ben’s wife Jennifer Garner told people how cute Ben and Violet are together. Here’s more:

Garner says when she’s away from her daughter, she feels like a "love-struck teenager."

And Violet feels the same way - especially about her father, Ben Affleck. "Violet prefers him to anyone," Garner tells the magazine. "He’s a teddy bear of a guy. Nothing makes me happier than to see the two of them together and her little hands on his face."

In fact, Affleck is a dream come true for Garner. "You know how as a kid you picture yourself with a tall, handsome husband, and you imagine him cuddling your baby?" she asks. "Ben is like that, like, on crack."

On crack? I’m sure she’s means addictive. It is incredibly refreshing to see a happy and functional Hollywood family. Ben is so obviously loves his daughter. The cocky Ben is gone, and the great dad is husband has arrived.

I used to think Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were pretty big stars, but now I realize it’s Violet Affleck that’s been pulling the strings this whole time. Remember how Ben’s career was up, then in the gutter, then he did Superman and he was back on top with an award, all Violet’s doing. Yup, she’s like the Godfather, only she’s a girl. Just look how she eats those strawberries with that f-u attitude, forget about it.
