Barbara Walters went on Larry King, and REALLY set the record straight about lying to protect Star Jones, when she didn’t want to admit she got a gastric bypass. Star tried to throw Barbara under the bus when Star hid the truth. Barbara on the other hand has the TRUTH on her side, and Star is lashing out because the truth hurts, a lot, and it’s obvious to see why. Star’s life may seem messed up, but she’s got money and talent, and she could turn lemons into lemonade, but she’s more interested in taking Rosie’s approach of attacking others for telling the truth. Since Barbara is already at war with Star, Rosie and Barbara are getting along great.

barbara-walters-affair Barbara Walters Accussed of Husband Stealing

Barbara Walters admitted in her book Audition that she had an affair with Republican Senator Edward Brooke back in the 1970s while he was married. The senator was later divorced from that wife, and remarried.

The scorned ex wife was Remigia Brooke, whose family is now speaking out on her behalf, since Remigia is now dead. A family member told The National Enquirer:

"She hated Barbara Walters ’til the day she died. She always blamed Barbara for the breakup of their marriage. She knew Ed was a ladies man, but she always said the marriage might have been saved if it weren’t for Barbara Walters."

Ed was a horny old toad, and Barbara was a hussy. Barbara probably likes the whips and leather.

Star Jones Blasts Barbara Walters Over Bypass

Star Jones is, like Rosie O’Donnell, can’t sit still when someone says anything that even resembles some sort of criticism, as if she’s perfect, unlike the rest of us. Barbara Walters is selling a book named Audition, in which Barbara claims she lied about Star’s gastric bypass surgery to keep it a secret, because Star didn’t want to talk about it. Star sent out this statement yesterday:

"It is a sad day when an icon like Barbara Walters, in the sunset of her life, is reduced to publicly branding herself as an adulterer, humiliating an innocent family with accounts of her illicit affair and speaking negatively against me all for the sake of selling a book. It speaks to her true character."

The truth hurts when you are willing to face it.

Star ended her comment by saying:

"I will not dignify this with a comment. Barbara’s written words say it all."

They sure do.

The video above and below are of Walters being interviewed about the book by Bill O’Reilly.

Barbara Walters Says Rosie has Emotional Issues

Barbara Walters has published her memoir, and included a chapter on The View, in wich she mentions Rosie, and describes her as having "emotional issues." There’s no denying that.

Rosie was on the Today Show this morning and compared herself to racist reverend Wright. Rosie said some people confuse passion with rage. Uh huh. Rosie herself said she’s got more mental problems than Britney Spears. Maybe it’s not rage or passion. Maybe it’s just plain crazy talk.

I get tired just trying to pay attention to Rosie. Tom Cruise won’t be happy to hear that Rosie said medication helped her mental issues.

Barbara Walters told Oprah Winfrey in an interview to air Tuesday, that she had an affair with a married United States Senator Edward Brooke in the late 1960s and 1970s.

Brooke, a moderate Republican from Massachusetts, was elected to the Senate in 1966. At the time, Walters, who was divorced twice, was gaining prominence as a cohost of the Today show on NBC. According to the AP, Walters’s affair with Brooke ended before the senator lost his bid for a third term in 1978. Brooke was later divorced but has subsequently remarried.

Walters told Oprah she recalled a phone call with a friend who warned her:

"This is going to come out. This is going to ruin your career … This is going to ruin him. You’ve got to break this off.’"

Out of fear the illicit relationship would damage both her career and the career of Brooke, Walters never spoke of the affair publicly.

In the interview Walters described Brooke as Brooke "exciting" and "brilliant," and told Oprah:

"I was certainly infatuated … It was exciting times in Washington."

Walters is telling some of her secrets to sell her new book called Audition.

Brooke did not returns calls for comment. His second wife probably has a lot of questions for him.
