A web site is claiming that Ashley Simpson and Pete Wentz are getting married on May 17. The site has issued reports like this in the past, and they have turned out NOT to be true, so we are filing this in the rumor category … for now. Ashlee is suspected to be pregnant, so a quick wedding is not out of the question.

Ashlee Simpson doesn’t know when to quit. The bad actress was on Ellen, and was asked point blank if she was pregnant. Here’s what was said:

Ellen: So I can’t let you sit here and not ask you the question, the elephant in the room, Now, are you or are you not pregnant?

Ashlee: Well, that has been going on for quite a while. That is definitely something that I choose personally not to discuss except for the fact that maybe. Do I look like I had 10 cheeseburgers or something, because I don’t think I do.

Ellen: No. You don’t look pregnant at all but everybody is saying you are. Let me just ask you this. I think it’s a personal thing, but you’ve got to promise me that you’re not going to keep this answer up as long as this woman did. [Holds up picture of Jennifer Lopez] Don’t do that.

Ashlee: No, I’m not. I swear.

Ellen: At some point let us in on it.

Ashlee: I promise you that. I give you my pinky on that.

Ellen: Is it a boy or a girl?

Ashlee: Ah, you’re funny.

Drop the act Ashlee. We’re not that stupid, but obviously you are. Honestly, if I didn’t feel obligated to reported ALL celebrity news to HG readers, I wouldn’t even bother with someone as disrespectful to her fans as Ashlee.

Ashlee Simpson did a much better version of Little Miss Obsessive on Jay Leno last night than she did on the Today Show. Ashlee excuses her bad performances on being tired. I just think she’s lazy. This is your career girl, take it seriously, and act like a professional. It’s your life.

Ashlee Simpson performed Little Miss Obsessive LIVE on the Today Show yesterday. Without the heavy sound engineering, her voice sounds like a 50 year-old smoker. Another half-Ash performance.

Finally a news source we are inclined to believe, PEOPLE, is reporting that Ashlee Simpson is not only pregnant, but getting married in May. The source even said the wedding will be held at a friend’s house in La Jolla, California, which is up the hill from San Diego. There’s even a Walmart nearby, so they can order a cheap cake. Earlier today Ashlee denied her pregnancy saying, "Some things you want to keep personal."

The whole video of Ashlee pregnant was just a smoke screen so we wouldn’t know she really is.

Ashlee passed up a $4 million dollar offer to pose for Playboy, so she must be holding out on the pregnancy news to score a big pay check with baby pictures. Very sneaky.
