Arnold Schwarzenegger Replaces Eastwood and Shriver

Arnold Schwarzenegger will replace Clint Eastwood and Bobby Shriver on the Parks Commission. Both Eastwood and Shriver opposed a proposed six lane tow road through a beach. Arnold is going to get things done, even if that means replaces people close to him. He’s doing the people’s work.

Eunice Kennedy Shriver Hospitalized

eunice kennedy shriver Eunice Kennedy Shriver Hospitalized

Eunice Kennedy Shriver was admitted on Nov. 18 to Massachusetts General Hospital. Eunice is the sister of President John F. Kennedy, and is said to be in fair condition. Eunice’s son-in-law, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, said back in June that she was recovering from a series of strokes. The chief of staff for Shriver’s daughter, Maria Shriver, says the 86-year-old has had a number of health challenges recently and "in every case, she’s bounced back."

Eunice Shriver founded the Special Olympics and helped transform America’s view of the mentally disabled. She was last in the public eye just two days before she was hospitalized. Get well soon. Those Kennedys are like the Energizer bunny. They just keep going and going and going.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Says Marijuana is Not a Drug

arnold schwarzenegger smoking pot Arnold Schwarzenegger Says Marijuana is Not a Drug

In a GQ interview Arnold Schwarzenegger was asked about video in a 1970s documentary, Pumping Iron, showing him smoking a joint, if he had ever taken drugs. Arnold responded:

"That is not a drug. It’s a leaf," he told the magazine. He added: "My drug was pumping iron, trust me."

Later, the governor’s spokesman, Aaron McLear, later told the Associated Press that the comments had been taken out of context. He added that Arnold had been speaking in a light-hearted way. Aaron said while dabbing beads of sweat from his forehead:

"Of course the governor understands marijuana is a drug."

Arnold also said in the upcoming December issue of GQ interview:

"What would you rather have? A politician taking stuff and not saying, but making the best decisions and improving things, or a politician who names all the drugs he or she has taken but makes lousy decisions for the country?" A politician’s job is to do what’s best for the people and to improve the country, the economy, the environment. Why should I care if a politician takes sleeping pills every night so long as he can do his job?"

In other words, Arnold understands that politicians are people just like the rest of us, who are expected, and supposed to, make decisions in the best interest of those depending on him or her. Of course, a politician who is high all the time might not be in the best position to make the best decisions even for his or herself. And then there are those addicted to oral sex and blue dresses.
