Sean Lennon and Kemp Muhl Recreate John and Yoko Pic

Sean Lennon and his model girlfriend Kemp Muhl have recreated the iconic Rolling Stone cover of Lennon’s parents, Yoko Ono and John Lennon, taken by Annie Leibovitz.
In the picture below was taken by Terry Richardson for the fall issue of Purple magazine.
Sean stays clothed, in the Yoko role, while Muhl is nude and curled up against his side.
The debate over the meaning of the image can rage on, but we interpret it to mean, John was insecure, and relied on a dominant Yoko for emotional security, while the opposite is true in the picture of Sean and Kemp, although the Sean and Kemp picture is stage, so the intended message may be accurate, and yet untrue in reality.
On a side note, Leibovitz may be losing her right to a $40 million dollar picture collection she used as collateral for a $24 million loan, that she is unable to repay. One of the pictures in that collection is that of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens Pose for Sleeping Beauty Pic

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens posed as Philip and Aurora in a Sleeping Beauty photo shoot by Annie Leibovitz.
If you’re familiar with the original characters you might note that Aurora had blond hair. With Disney it’s all about creating a beautiful fantasy image, which this picture certainly recreates.

Disney has Annie Leibovitz on The Payroll

Disney has had a contract with Annie Leibovitz to shoot their Dream Portrait series, based on Disney stories, for years. Leibovitz has shot big stars for Disney like Beyonce, Julie Andrews, Abigail Breslin, David Beckham, and Scarlett Johansson. We know that Leibovitz got the okay for the photoshoot from Disney before it happened, but Disney claims Leibovitz had Miley Cyrus do a sexually suggestive set of pictures that were not authorized, and accuse Leibovitz of "manipulating" the situation with Miley.
Does this mean Disney won’t be contracting Leibovitz in the future? Disney will just make sure there is a Disney rep on the set next time, like there should have been in the first place. The trust may be gone, but Leibovitz has too much talent for Disney to turn their back on her, just like with Miley.
Vanity Fair’s website crashed Monday after it was hit with millions of visitors from people who wanted to see the pictures of Miley. The June issue goes on sale tomorrow. It will be a big seller, and could even break a record.
The media frenzy over Miley hasn’t hurt Disney’s business either. Although the majority of people agree the pictures were inappropriate, Miley isn’t being blamed. Most are giving Miley credit for owning up to her mistake right away, and taking responsibility, something that is lacking for most female celebrities right now. Miley just moved into the realm of mega star.

Jamie Lee Curtis Says Adults Should Have Protected Miley

Jamie Lee Curtis (49) today criticized Vanity Fair, Disney, and Miley Cyrus’ parents for not protecting the 15 year-old tween queen. Jamie said:
"I too was a little embarrassed by my recent topless ’scandal’ and the subsequent parodies, but I am an adult woman. I protected myself during the shoot and I can take the heat. I only wish that her guardians had protected her."
Curtis, whose photos in AARP The Magazine were parodied on Saturday Night Live, says she empathizes with Miley Cyrus.
Saturday Night Live did a comical parody of Jamie Lee’s AARP photo shoot, so she says that experience allows her to empathize with Miley. Jamie Lee says she understands Miley feeling embarrassed:
"Of course she is embarrassed. She is a young girl. She shouldn’t have to deal with any of this. I don’t feel that she was duped. I know the integrity of Ms. Leibovitz and the magazine, and I know there were people present at the shoot that should have been looking out to make sure that this didn’t happen."
Jamie Lee Curtis just pointed the finger of blame squarely at Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley’s mother. Miley may be begging for more attention, but her parents need to put on the brakes when their little girl is being exploited, and they didn’t.
Annie Leibovitz Speaks Out on Miley Photo Shoot

Annie Leibovitz, a world class lesbian photographer, is at the center of a firestorm that has been set off over pictures she took of Miley Cyrus without clothes on. Leibovitz spoke out to put her role into context:
"I’m sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted. Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful."
There’s no misinterpretation. Miley is 15 years-old, and she did a sexually suggestive photo shoot that only an 18 year-old should be doing, who is not representing Disney.
