Donald Trump Calls Anne Hathaway a Gold Digger

Donald Trump talked to Access Hollywood about Anne Hathaway turning FBI informant against her former boyfriend:

“She hasn’t remained very loyal to him, has she? So when he had plenty of money, she liked him, but then after that, not as good, right?”

The Donald makes a good point.

Anne Hathaway Turned Raffaello Follieri into Feds

Anne Hathaway Turned Raffaello Follieri into Feds

Anne Hathaway is suspected of turning Raffaello Follieri into Federal agents just before he was arrested, according to the New York Daily News:

A pal of jailed wheeler-dealer Raffaello Follieri suspects the starlet spoke with the FBI shortly before they arrested her ex for an alleged $6 million con job.

"It makes sense," the friend said. "She’s referred to as his former girlfriend in the indictment even though her spokesman never confirmed they broke up."

Hathaway, who is not identified by name in the criminal complaint, split with Follieri shortly before his arrest last week. He is charged with posing as an agent of the Vatican to fleece investors out of millions.

"I think that in return for her cooperation, the feds held off on arresting Follieri until she was out of the country," the friend said.

Hathaway’s camp has declined to comment on Follieri’s legal troubles.

Follieri faces up to 20 years in federal prison if he’s convicted of wire-fraud and money-laundering charges. If Hathaway did turn Follieri in, then it was the SMART, and right, thing to do.

Anne Hathaway Ex Tests Positive for Drugs

Anne Hathaway’s fake ex Italian businessman boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, had his bail set at $21 million dollars after his arrest, and he needs five co-signers to go home.

Police also told the court Follieri "tested positive" for opiates during a routine drug test.

Once he gets out of custody, Follieri will be home-restricted by an electronic monitoring device, and will only be let out for legal, medical, and religious reasons, and only on the island of Manhattan. His pre-trial hearing is scheduled for July 9.

Raffaello Follieri Arrested

Raffaello Follieri was arrested for federal wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering charges.

Raffaello Follieri is due in Manhattan federal court on Tuesday, accused of lying to an investor, and for claiming he had been appointed the chief financial officer of the Vatican. Police say investors were duped into believing Follieri’s fake Vatican connection, which he said allowed him to buy properties owned by the Catholic church in the U.S. at a way cheaper rate.

It’s a good thing Anne Hathaway dumped him recently.

Breakdown of the Charges

  • Six counts of wire fraud and each count carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
  • Five counts of money laundering and each count also carries a max of 20 years in jail.
  • One count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, which carries a maximum penalty of 5 years behind bars.
