Katharine McPhee (23) is now engaged to be married to Nick Cokas (42) after a little more than a year of dating. A source said:

"Katharine is bubbling over with excitement for her upcoming wedding. She is all smiles when she talks about the planning. It sounds like everything is going very smoothly."

As for the 19-year age difference, McPhee says that "was never really a concern." The two connect because "he just makes things really fun" and "we love business. We love going to meetings together and create things together."

The couple are making an independent film together called The Last Caller. McPhee will star in the dark romantic comedy and Cokas will produce. McPhee also just finished filming the Anna Faris comedy I Know What Boys Like. I’m anxious to see if McPhee is a good actress or not.

At the end of September a rumor circulated that McPhee was engaged, but it was not confirmed. Now it’s official.

I wish them health, happiness, and a lot of luck.

Would you marry a man 19 years older than you?

Katharine McPhee and Anna Faris are making a movie called House Bunny that is sure to arouse the interest of critics and movie goers alike:

Katharine McPhee shoots a carwash scene for her upcoming comedy "House Bunny," co-starring Anna Faris. The comedy is being produced by Adam Sandler. The script, by Legally Blonde scribes Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith, centers on a Playboy bunny (Faris) who gets kicked out of the Playboy Mansion and becomes the house mother to the lamest sorority on a college campus. McPhee plays one of the sorority girls- a pregnant hippy. The film also co-stars Colin Hanks, Rumer Willis, and All-American Rejects frontman Tyson Ritter.

This is what sorority girls are supposed to look like. Hot, slim, physically fit, and smart, yet willing and able. It took me about 10 minutes of staring at these pictures before I noticed that Katharine McPhee is standing right next to Anna Faris. It’s hard to see McPhee with Anna’s perfect butt in the way.

Rumer Willis Looks Good In Braces

This photo of Rumer Willis in the upcoming Anna Faris film is just so…well, strange. For one thing, she looks like an underage stripper with Scoliosis. She bears a striking resemblance to Joan Cusack’s character from Sixteen Candles. And yet this is the hottest she’s ever looked. Now that’s just sad.

Kat McPhee to Make Her Acting Debut With an Anything-But-Stellar Cast

Posted on July 12, 2007 at 4:01 pm (PST)

Lame Project Alert: The Hollywood Reporter writes that Katharine McPhee is set to act in her first film, and, despite her smashing good looks, it sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

"American Idol" runner-up Katharine McPhee will make her studio acting debut in the untitled Anna Faris project for Columbia Pictures and Happy Madison. McPhee, along with Emma Stone, Rumer Willis, Kat Dennings and comedian Dana Goodman, have signed on to co-star in the comedy, which is being directed by Fred Wolf.

The script, written by "Legally Blonde" scribes Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith, centers on a Playboy bunny (Faris) who gets kicked out of the Playboy Mansion and becomes the house mother to the lamest sorority on campus. The casting fills in the major roles of the sorority sisters and solidifies the project as the first female-driven comedy to come out of the shingle.

McPhee will play a pregnant hippy, while Stone will be president of the sorority.

Willis will play an insecure young woman who wears a backbrace even though she could have had it removed years ago. Dennings will portray a pierced women’s studies feminist, and Goodman will play the sister who keeps switching majors and should have graduated years ago.

Throw in Meg Ryan as a bag lady who lives outside the house, and you’ve got the least marketable movie ever to be made.

MTV Movie Awards Are Off the Hook

When it airs on June 8th, this year’s the 2006 MTV Movie Awards will be just as uncivilized as previous shows. The awards gala is almost always the most naughty, flirty and downright sketchy movie awards show of all - and with prime sex symbol Jessica Alba hosting, it doesn’t promise to be any more respectable this year.

Jessica thanks “the perverts” for their support, and Colin Farrell makes a crack about Brangelina’s safari adventure. Christian Bale call himself a “lucky bastard” and Isla Fisher makes reference to being a bi-polar nymphomaniac — Oscar speeches these are not.

What they are is good solid fun, and as Alba puts it on the red carpet, “All the actors who come here always are excited to be here, and to go bananas.”

Christina Aguilera also performs her new single, ’Ain’t No Other Man,’ on the show, which airs Thursday night at 9 p.m. on MTV.

At the awards show were Amanda Bynes, Anna Faris, Brooke Hogan, Christina Aguilera, Cindy Margolis, Eva Mendes, Famke Janssen, Isla Fisher, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jessica Alba, Jessica Simpson, Kate Beckinsale, Kate Bosworth, Brandon Routh, Kevin Spacey, Christian Bale, Justin Timberlake, Kate Hudson, Lauren Conrad, Rebecca Romijn, Rihanna, Rosario Dawson, Sandra Bullock, Keanu Reeves, Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Jim Carrey, and many more, but these are the stars we have pictures of in the gallery.

After the jump we have 40 pictures from the awards, and 3 videos that include a sneak peak of the 2006 MTV Movie Awards…
