Amy Wineouse Sued

Amy Winehouse is facing legal action after she pulled out of the Rock En Seine festival in Paris just two hours before she was due to headline it. On their web site organizers posted the following statement:

"We were told by Winehouse’s agent at 8pm that she would not be there, and we were forced to cancel the performance."

"We have still not been given any explanation of the exact reasons for her absence."

An Amy spokesman said Amy was sick, but did not require hospitalization this time:

"Amy Winehouse is currently at home recovering. The illness is nothing serious, nothing that some time in bed and not singing won’t cure."

Amy’s next scheduled gig is at Bestival on the Isle of Wight next weekend. Her dad Mitch has said that after that show she will take time off to focus on her health.

Amy should just retire.

Amy Winehouse Caught in New Drug Video

Amy Winehouse was caught on video at a Camden pub last month snorting something off a CD case. New of the World released the video on their web site yesterday. Georgette Civil, the mother of Blake who is Amy’s husband, said:

"I’m shocked by the video. When I look at Amy I think, ‘For Christ’s sake, just get a grip of yourself.’ Enough is enough. As the police know Amy is a drug addict, and she has now been caught twice on film taking illegal drugs, they should arrest her and put her behind bars. Rehab clinics are a waste of money, unless you want them to work. Amy doesn’t want to give up drugs, so she’s got to learn the hard way in prison. Police have to act. She is making a mockery of the law. It has got to stop."

"The price Amy has got to pay is losing her freedom."

The video footage comes only two months after Britain’s top cop Sir Ian Blair called for celebrity junkies caught on camera to be put on trial. Sir Ian said:

“My position is that a sensible jury would not expect people to be sniffing talcum powder.”

Georgette says Blake is healthy, and off drugs, while in jail, and she thinks jail could save Amy. Georgette said:

"Prison has helped Blake give up drugs and he’s doing brilliantly in Edmunds Hill. When he went in Pentonville last November he was in a terrible mess. His skin was a horrible dirty yellow colour, he was painfully thin and he had dead eyes. I will never forget that haunted look. I feared we were going to lose him. But they gave him amazing medical treatment in prison to get him off drugs and then helped him conquer his personal demons. It worked a miracle. Now nine months on he looks amazing. He has put on nearly two stone in weight, his skin is glowing with health and he is so relaxed and happy. But while Blake has been inside, Amy has gone disastrously downhill. Prison worked for Blake. It’s the only thing that can now save Amy."

The only way Amy will get off drugs is if she doesn’t have the freedom to do those drugs, which means either involuntary rehab, or jail.

Amy Winehouse Going Back to Rehab

Amy Winehouse will be moving closer to husband Blake Fielder-Civil, and may check into Focus 12 rehab as well. Russell Brand suggested she attend rehab in the area she is moving to. Brand was a patient himself at Focus 12. Mitch Winehouse said:

“This is a very good idea. If she can get clean and still see Blake it can only be good.”

Amy Winehouse Got Booed Again

Amy Winehouse was late to the V Festival in Staffordshire on Saturday, so the crowd booed her. It’s a shock she was even well enough to show up at all. This is what too many drugs can do to a person, even prescription drugs.

Amy Winehouse Slapped a Woman on the Street

Amy Winehouse has been violent so many times I lost count. A middle-aged woman touched Amy in Camden as she was walking by, mumbling something about concern for her health. Amy responded by smacking away the woman’s hand and yelling:

"Let f*cking go of me, d!ckhead!"

As Amy kept walking she again yelled:

"F*cking b!tch."
