Adam Lambert Calls Censorship Discrimination

Adam Lambert gave a shocking performance last night at the American Music Awards, which was perfectly suited for a gay club, but not the AMAs. As a result the performance was edited before being broadcast to the west coast. Lambert responded with this statement:

"You know honestly, if I offended some people, it’s apples and oranges. I’m not an artist that does things for every single person. I believe in artistic freedom and expression, I believe in honoring the lyrics of a song, and those lyrics aren’t really for everybody either."

"There’s a big double standard, female pop artists have been doing things provocative like that for years, and the fact that I’m a male, and I’ll be edited and discriminated against could be a problem."

"People are scared and it’s really sad, I just wish people could open their minds up and enjoy things, it’s all for a laugh, it’s really not that big of a deal."

Lambert is right about the double standard, but how about specifically applying that to both gay and heterosexual men.

Taylor Swift Wins Artist of the Year Award at American Music Awards

Taylor Swift (19) won the Artist of the Year Award at the American Music Awards (AMAs) beating out Michael Jackson. Taylor said in her acceptance speech:

"I just want to say, music has never been ultimately about competition, and to even be mentioned in a category with Michael Jackson, who we will miss and love forever, is an unimaginable honor."

"I just want to say, I’m sending my love to the Jackson family, and Janet, for reaching out to me the way that you have."

"It’s the fans. You have given me so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, and I hope you guys have an awesome Thanksgiving."

"I miss and I love you. Thank you so much."

Taylor won five AMAs total tonight, including the most prestigious Artist of the Year award, after being nominated for six awards.

I’m starting to wonder if this will be the best year ever in Swift’s career. This would be a tough year for anyone to top. I hope this is only the start of a talented career for Taylor Swift.

Adam Lambert fell during his performance at the American Music Awards (AMAs). Because his music pretty much sucks, despite having a great voice, Adam took the shock route to entertain the audience, which included flipping everyone off, grinding a male dancer’s face into his cr*tch, and kissing a male band-mate.

Avril Lavigne Lost to a Supermodel

Avril Lavigne attended the American Music Awards in the same dress as Izabel Goulart wore to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Ever notice how "wore" is only one letter away from "whore." Anyway, I’m going to have to declare Izabel as the winner in this "Who Wore it Best" contest. One is classy and the other is trashy.

Beyonce Goes Country with Sugarland – Video

Beyonce joined up with the country band Sugarland (editors note – sugarwho?) last night at the American Music Awards, and it was every bit as awkward and horrible as you might imagine. The Sugarland singer said:

After their performance, Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles told the Associated Press, "We were face to face, and there were a couple times when (Beyonce) was looking at me and I was blushing because I thought I was going to turn to stone in her beauty. She is so grounded.â€

Maybe that Sugarland chick should get her head out of the gutter, and quit staring at Beyonce’s brown sugar tits. Beyonce appears to be sticking to that maple syrup diet she brags about. Her butt is now bigger than Kim Kardashian’s.
