Alec Baldwin – who at one time in his
career was considered to be dashing and charming, if not an all around decent
sort of guy – has over the years, turned into a raving madman who seems to lash
out at everything and everyone, especially when he doesn’t get his way. 

Kind of like a two year old – only worse.  Much worse.

His most recent temper tantrum has occurred on the off-Broadway
play, Entertaining Mister Sloane {which is currently playing at
Roundabout’s Laura Pels Theatre} and involves co-star
Jan Maxwell, who it seems had been putting up with his shenanigans for
some time, until Baldwin put his fist through a wall during a rage concerning
onstage air-conditioning and had taken to throwing things. Finally, Maxwell
reached her breaking point when Baldwin flat out refused to go on stage with her
and she abruptly left the production on Sunday.

This week, Maxwell filed legal papers in New York, alleging
Baldwin created an ‘unhealthy and oppressive situation onstage and off’.
