Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger Still At War

  Share

Here’s a brief summary of what’s going on. Alec Baldwin is already waiting for the court to finally find Kim Basinger in contempt for violating court orders in their divorce regarding his visitation with his daughter Ireland. The divorce has been over for years, but the court has yet to address Alec’s complaints. This really upsets Alec who lost it the other day when his disrsepcting daughter Ireland didn’t answer his phone call.

Kim then hired a body guard for Ireland, which Alec has to pay for. The body guard is just drama, and should really be a red flag that Kim is still not willing to be reasonable in allowing Alec time with his daughter. The court did act quickly by denying Alec any visitation until a hearing coming soon.

The bottom line is this: Alec is a spoiled little brat that can’t handle being told no. Kim is a vindictive woman who only cares about revenge against Alec, and does not care if all this hatred causes daughter Ireleand psychological and emotional injury.

It’s understandable that the attorneys want to continue the conflict because they make more money without a resolution, but the judge is supposed to settle these issues so the child can have equal access to both the father and the mother. However, reality is that courts are based on a winner versus loser mentality.

Both Alec and Kim should get counseling, and see a psychiatrist, until Ireland is 18 years old.

How would you solve the conflict between Alec and Kim?

Alec Baldwin Goes to Court To Stop Voicemail Leaks

  Share

Alec Baldwin acted inappropriately when he left that irate message for his daughter Ireland, which as it turns out was the third message he left that evening. As it turns out, Kim Basinger, who is already facing multiple criminal contempt of court in her interference with Alec and daughter Ireland’s relationship, may have violated the court’s orders again when she released a copy of the voicemail, which embarrassed Ireland as well as Alec, and also puts Ireland in the middle of two feuding parents again. It may sound crazy, but maybe the court should award joint custody with no child support, with each parent required to go to counseling together, and parenting classes together. Just a thought, here’s more:

Alec Baldwin has just filed legal papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court to determine who gave TMZ the vile voice mail message Alec left for his daughter Ireland.

The document is an Order to Show Cause on why Basinger and her lawyers should not be held in contempt.

In a declaration filed by Baldwin’s lawyer, Vicki Greene, the attorney says "Petitioner [Basinger] is the only parent with custody, possession and control of the minor child’s telephone voice-mail message that was dissemination (sic) to Harvey Levin and TMZ."

Greene continues, "I do not know how Mr. Levin received any information about the court proceeding that was closed to the public, but again, it had to come from someone connected to the proceeding, and it was not me."

Greene adds, "If Mr. Levin had a tape recorded message between Respondent and the minor child, it had to have originated from Petitioner or her employees, agents or attorneys."

Greene ends with this: "Respondent [Baldwin] urges the Court to set a hearing to determine the source of the leak and whether and how its Orders have been violated. Information has been leaked to the press intentionally. The specific source is unknown, but it could only have come from Petitioner’s side of the case." Greene ends by alleging the leak "…goes against the Court’s stated desire to protect the child from unwarranted publicity."

Yeah, my father yelled at me, but never in a million years would he ever speak that way to me. ...

I hope whoever leaked it goes to jail. It's a private, personal message and it shouldn't have been made public. ...

Alec Baldwin Issues Apology but not to Daughter Ireland

  Share

Alec Baldwin verbally attacked his 11 year-old daughter Ireland yesterday after she didn’t answer his expected phone call. Today via his website Baldwin issued an apology. In the apology he outlines his plight as a victim of a court system that is anti-father, but he also points out that his first concern is for himself. No where in his apology does Baldwin take responsibility, nor does he appear to realize, that the first person he needs to apologize to is his daughter. (Listen to the voice mail here.)

Here’s Alec Baldwin’s message from his website:

Thank you to everyone who has posted messages of support and understanding. Naturally, it is not best for a parent to lose their temper with their child. Everyone who knows me privately knows that I have endured a great deal over the last several years in my custody litigation. Everyone who knows me privately knows that certain people will go to any lengths to embarrass me and to disrupt my relationship with my daughter.

In such public cases, your opponents attempt to take a picture of you on your worst day and insist that this is who you are as a person. Outside the doors of divorce court, I have friends, I have respect from people I work with and I have a normal relationship with my daughter. All of that is threatened whenever one enters a court room.

Although I have been told by numerous people not to worry too much, as all parents lose their patience with their kids, I am most saddened that this was released to the media because of what it does to a child. I’m sorry, as everyone who knows me is aware, for losing my temper with my child. I have been driven to the edge by parental alienation for many years now. You have to go through this to understand. ( Although I hope you never do.) I am sorry for what happened. But I am equally sorry that a court order was violated, which had deliberately been put under seal in this case.

Once my book is published, I’m sure more people will understand the incredible strains created by parental alienation.

In the meantime, I’m sorry to anyone who’s taken offense from this episode.

Alec Baldwin Responds to Nasty Message He Left for Daughter

  Share

Earlier today news broke that Alec Baldwin had left a very nasty phone message for his daughter Ireland. Click here to read the story and listen to the message.

Alec Baldwin’s rep. released this statement to Extra, just hours ago:

"In the best interest of the child, Alec will do what the mother is pathologically incapable of doing…keeping his mouth shut and obeying the court order. The mother and her lawyer leaked this sealed material in violation of a court order. Although Alec acknowledges that he should have used different language in parenting his child, everyone who knows him privately knows what he has been put through for the past six years."

Since when does parenting equal abusive language? Alec has some serious anger management issues. As Angry as he may be at Kim Bassinger, he should know better than to ever take that anger out on his daughter, and then blame it on her mother rather than apologizing for acting inappropriately. Ireland is going to learn from his example, and he’ll blame that on Ireland’s mother too.

On a side note, If Basinger was the one who leaked the tape, it would not be her first time violating a court order. On Oct. 4, she was arraigned on several misdemeanor counts of criminal contempt.

Earlier today, a motion by Basinger’s lawyers to dismiss contempt charges against her, related to her divorce from the “30 Rock” star was denied, City News Service reported.

Basinger had contempt charges filed against her last year for allegedly disobeying court orders related to Baldwin’s visitation rights of his daughter.

City News Service reports that if convicted Basinger faces up to 60 days in jail and a $12,000 fine.

Both Baldwin and Basinger did not attend the court proceeding earlier today.

“Access Hollywood” has been unable to reach Basinger’s representatives about the matter.

Hopefully Basinger will be held accountable for her own bad behavior, then maybe Ireland can civil parents again, but it’s going to have to be forced by the court it looks like.
