Akon wants to work with Fall Out Boy
Akon recently drew criticism from the media after his raunchy dance with a underage female at a club, his assault with a concert-goer and Verizon pulling back from doing anymore endorsements with the singer.
Now the star wants to start anew and collaborate with a few bands. “I’d love to work with Fall Out Boy, Blink-182, and Good Charlotte would be cool,†the singer told nme.com on Wednesday.
He also added: “I’d love to work with Beyonce, but I’ve never met her.”
Someone needs to remind Akon there is no more Blink-182.
Akon Says Assaulting People Isn’t Wrong

Once again Akon is denying he did anything wrong when he threw a stick kid from over his head onto the ground from the stage. Here’s more:
The singer Akon has agreed to cooperate with police in the investigation of a fan-tossing incident, but believes he didn’t commit any crimes, his lawyer said Thursday.
"Given the information that we have reviewed to date, it does not appear to us that Akon was involved in any criminal conduct whatsoever," says his attorney Benjamin Brafman in a statement. "We are prepared to fully cooperate with any law enforcement agency that may be investigating this incident. We are confident that after a thorough investigation it will be apparent that no criminal prosecution of Akon is warranted.
Paris, and so many other celebrities, prove every day if you’re famous you can do no wrong. Akon could drive his car through a day care and not even notice. He’d park his car right there in the day care, and while the kids were dying under his wheels he’d get out, go grab a latte, and some breakfast. Celebrities have no concept of right and wrong, or any sense of responsibility. Celebs live in a moral universe that regular people could never understand.
Akon Assault Victim Identified by Police

Fishkill police have identified the KFEST concertgoer tossed off the stage by singer Akon as a 15-year-old resident of Harriman, Orange County, Detective Lt. John Berlingieri said today.
Fishkill police know the teen’s name, but would not release that information. On Sunday at Dutchess Stadium, during a concert staged by Fishkill-based WSPK (104.7 FM), the 15-year-old was plucked from the crowd by a security guard, hoisted in the air by Akon and hurled back into the crowd.
Berlingieri said the teen’s mother contacted police and gave them her son’s name.
Clintondale resident Heather Idema attended KFEST Sunday with her husband and 10-year-old daughter, and supplied the Journal with video footage she took of the incident.
Idema said someone in the crowd threw something at Akon, who then asked the crowd to identify that person. The KFEST concertgoer was plucked from the crowd by a security guard and directed toward Akon, who hoisted the fan onto his shoulders and tossed him into the audience.

Akon Being Investigated for Assault by Police

Fishkill town police are looking for the KFEST concertgoer who on Sunday was plucked from the crowd by a security guard, directed toward headlining musician Akon and then hoisted by Akon on the singer’s shoulders and hurled back into the audience.
Detective. Lt. John Berlingieri of the Fishkill Police said talks have been held within the department regarding the possibility of questioning Akon about the incident, which occurred during Fishkill-based WSPK (104.7 FM)’s annual KFEST concert at Dutchess Stadium.
“We’re trying to identify that kid, just to find out whether or not we have any kind of criminal offense,†Berlingieri said. “We are looking to speak to him. No victim. No crime.â€

Akon Assaults and Throws Audience Member Off the Stage
If it wasn’t bad enough that Akon molested a 15 year old girl onstage in Trinidad, now he’s assaulting audience members. At an Akon show in the United States a male audience member said something Akon didn’t like. Akon takes his shirt off, tells bodyguards to bring the skinny kid onstage, lifts the kid over his head, and throws him into the audience, who all moved aside and let the kid hit the ground. Akon says, "he’s alright, he’s alright." Someone in the audience in video number 2 says, "he’s f_ _ ked up!"
Verizon already dropped Akon, and he’s already embarrassed Gwen Stefani who brought Akon on her tour. Are police going to finally take action against Akon? How many people does he have to hurt before his out-of-control behavior is stopped by police in the United States?
