Akon, who is scheduled to go on trial for assaulting a young boy in New York by throwing him off a stage, which also injured a girl in the crowd, did it again. This time Akon was performing in Guyana, South America on August 30. Akon body surfed from the stage to a camera platform about 100 yards away. When he got there he physically assaulted two girls, one of whom helped him get up on the camera platform.

This isn’t the first time Akon has abused young girls. In April of 2007, Akon dry humped a 15 year-old girl named Danah Alleyne from Trinidad and Tobago, who was a preacher’s daughter. She was no angel, but she was only 15, and Akon knew better. Pictures of Danah are below, and a video of the incident that almost landed Akon in jail is also below. Fortunately for Akon, his actions in Trinidad are part of a common dance there, which isn’t necessarily considered indecent, and it is considered part of the culture.

In New York however, it is against the law to be violent towards minors, and that is probably the case in Guyana, especially when two girls are involved. Akon never seems to learn his lesson. Hopefully, prosecutors in New York will see the Guyana video, and decide not to allow Akon to settle the case in New York, but will instead convict him so he can learn his lesson behind bars. One of these days, Akon’s reckless behavior is going to hurt someone very seriously.

Akon is finally going on trial for throwing a fan off the stage, and into a crowd in June of 2007 at a concert in New York state. Akon faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. A female fan in audience said she got a concussion when Akon threw the boy on her.

Fishkill Town Justice Harold Epstein ordered Akon, who was present in court for today’s 9 a.m. hearing, to return to Fishkill Justice Court December 1 for the start of the jury trial.

Akon faces a maximum of one year and 15 days behind bars if convicted on both charges.

Dutchess County Assistant District Attorney Anthony Parisi requested that Akon’s attorney, Andrea Zellan, attempt to reach a deal within the next two weeks, before notices are mailed out to potential jurors.

Akon’s attorney released the following statement:

"We are pleased that Judge Epstein adjourned the case to a date certain for either a trial or a negotiated resolution. Akon looks forward to putting this incident behind him, and in the meantime, he will continue to meet every requirement set forth by the court."

Akon will settle.

A new Whitney Houston comeback song was leaked, probably to test the response. The song is called Like I Never Left, and features Akon. The main line is "I want you to love me like I never left."

Akon was performing a free concert in Copenhagen, Denmark on Wednesday when his fans began to riot as police attempted to evacuate the mall after fire alarms went off. The riot escalated once everyone was safe outside as concert-goers started throwing rocks and drink bottles at the officers, resulting in eight arrests. The fire turned out to be a false alarm and mall security have launched an investigation into what went wrong.

Gosh this an easy one to figure. One of the kids at the free concert thought it would be funny to pull the fire alarm and did, nearly getting people killed in a riot. As for the rioters, would they rather burn to death in a fire rather than be evacuated?
