Aaron Carter Arrested for Marijuana Possession

Aaron Carter (20) was arrested in Kimble County, Texas with two ounces of marijuana in his possession. He was pulled over on I-10 today for speeding, and when cops searched his car they found the marijuana. Aaron remains in jail tonight, and will be arraigned tomorrow. A source close to the situation said Aaron was being chased by a drug dealer, who he may have taken the pot from, when the cops pulled him over. There are concerns that he may not be safe in jail tonight.

Dancing With the Stars Contestants Leaked

Next season’s contestants on "Dancing With the Stars" have been "leaked." I’m guessing this is the same kind of leak that happens when Paris Hilton calls the paparazzi to tell them where she is going to be and then feigns shock and horror when they actually show up. Yeah, that kind of leak. Anyway, the list is a veritable who’s who in the world of Has-Beens. TMZ has named them on their site, along with photos. Here is the list: Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth, Aaron Carter, Mark Cuban, Wayne Newton, Jane Seymour, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Nia Peeples, Richard Quest, Lou Ferrigno, Gisele Bundchen, Helio Castroneves, and Sabrina Bryan. Apparently Melanie Brown, a.k.a. Mel B., a.k.a. Scary Spice, is going to be involved in the show in some form, but not as a dancer. We’re guessing that her freaky deaky husband probably forbade her to dance.

Can’t you just read the tag line for this show? What happens when Donna Martin, the Hulk, and Proactiv-spokesperson-to-be Aaron Carter sashay into the world of dancing? Hilarity ensues!

The nice thing is that a bus will pick up the contestants after the show wraps and take them to their stint on "The Surreal Life."

Lindsay Lohan Body Guard Blames Her Parents

Tony Almeida was Lindsay Lohan’s bodyguard from 2002 to 2005, and he says that Lindsay’s parents are very much to blame for her wild ways. He says they let her do whatever she wanted from a very young age - including sex and drugs - as long as she kept working because her paychecks kept them living in luxury. Page Six says:

Almeida says, "From a young age, she dealt with her father’s physical, emotional and drug abuses as well as her mother’s drinking."

Once, when Lindsay was 16, Michael flew into a rage while driving and "slammed on the brakes and dragged her out of the car, pushed her up against the hood, screamed at her and called her a slut. This was on the Long Island Expressway! I got in the middle of it and pulled him off."

Meanwhile, Dina often "let her do whatever she wanted, just to keep her happy and working . . . [At her 16th birthday party] Lindsay drank whatever she wanted - I saw her drinking beer and mixed drinks with my own eyes [without Dina’s intervention]."

As Lindsay’s manager, Dina - who was desperate to become a star herself - received 10 percent of her income. "Lindsay was the family cash cow - and she resented it," Almeida claims. "They counted on her to pay their bills . . . I saw Lindsay exhausted, begging her mother for some time off."

Young Lindsay’s parents looked the other way as she began a life of boozing, boys and drugs. When she was 15, they allowed her to share a room with her then-14-year-old boyfriend, Aaron Carter, at Loews in Miami Beach. Almeida relates, "They knew Lindsay was sleeping in Aaron’s room. But they seemed happy she had chosen somebody who could benefit her singing career."

By age 18, Lindsay had moved on to harder substances. Almeida recalls walking in on her and another celebrity in a closet at a club one night as they sniffed white powder.

The ex-bodyguard also claims Lindsay cried out for help for years by cutting herself and threatening suicide.

As if everyone didn’t already know all that. Well at least Tony will make a few bucks telling the same recycled story. What is new is the tough love from Michael Lohan when he called his daughter the slut she is. It’s true that Lindsay could have two pet rocks for parents, and they would give her better guidance, but now every teenager with an ounce of rebellion will want to have parent’s as cool and irresponsible as Lindsay’s. Good going Mr. Almeida.

Aaron Carter Calls Off Engagement

Like I said when this was announced, it was all a publicity stunt for the new House of Carters reality show. Here’s more:

Aaron Carter has called off his engagement to actress Kari Ann Peniche, 22, after just one week, the singer confirms to Us Weekly. "I got caught up in the moment and proposed. I then realized it was a hasty thing to do and I am not ready for marriage quite yet," Carter, 18, tells the magazine exclusively.

A source close to the star of the upcoming E! reality series House of Carters says, "They are just going to be friends now. She still wants to keep dating him but Aaron is not quite sure. He was trying to appease her but came to his senses and realized it was the wrong thing to do."

Us also broke the news last week that Carter proposed to Peniche, an ex-girlfriend of his older brother, Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, onstage in Las Vegas on September 16.

Aaron Carter to Marry Kari Ann Peniche

Aaron Carter, the younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, proposed to his girlfriend Kari Ann Peniche on stage last night in Las Vegas, a source said. Carter initially planned to go directly to a local chapel, but decided a proper wedding needed some planning. The couple reportedly plans to wed in the next six months.

Peniche, 22, was named Miss United States Teen in 2003, but had her title revoked after she posed for Playboy. According to her MySpace profile, updated on 9-17, she is currently single and does not want kids. She might want to update that.

Carter, 18, is the youngest solo male singer to have four Top 40 singles. “House of Carters,” a reality show about his life with brother Nick and their three sisters, premieres next month on E!.

The engaged pair stayed at the Palms Casino Resort. It will be the first marriage for both. Carter’s rep could not be reached for comment.
