Lindsay Lohan Schedules Photoshoot in Rehab

Lindsay Lohan has arranged for OK! magazine to do a photo shoot with her while she is in rehab at the Cirque Lodge detox center in Sundance, Utah. OK! is promoting the shots as if they just caught Lindsay acting naturally, but they’re not. Here’s more:

In one perfectly posed shot, a demure Lohan, her hair pulled tightly back, is reading "Alcoholics Anonymous," AA’s 164-page "Big Book," which mixes personal stories of redemption with a description of how the program works. "She really is taking it seriously," OK! Editor-in-Chief Sarah Ivens said. "She’s replacing L.A. and smoking with yoga and reading." And, Ivens said, "she hasn’t looked this good in years."

Lohan spends her days writing in a journal, soaking up "spiritual classes" and working shifts at Smith’s, a nearby supermarket, where her earnings go to a local charity, the magazine said. If that gets too blue collar for her, a source said Cirque offers "equine therapy, where patients care for horses to help them with issues of trust. She’s been really worried about the influence she’s having on her little sister Ali (13)," Ivens said.

"That’s why this time she’s determined to sort herself out, because she doesn’t want her Ali to grow up and suffer the same things she’s suffered."

Lindsay’s brother and sister visited her in rehab, but not in rehab. They all went shopping at a grocery for…I’m not really sure since Lindsay just walked around talking on the phone, and there were no rehab escorts in site. Yeah, apparently the rehab staff trust Lindsay enough to let her out by herself, and with her brother and sister who could have easily brought Lindsay a little something from mom to make rehab easier. Maybe now she’ll stop trying to suck the cocaine residue out of all the new patients. I noticed all the patients get bandannas when they go rafting, but they might want to wear those self inflating life preservers somewhere other than their head.

Lindsay Lohan Arrested for DUI – Movie Cancelled

Lindsay Lohan has turned herself into police, who arrested and booked her, then released her on $30,000 bail yesterday at about 4 pm. Her booking only took about an hour. Police will only say her blood alcohol level was above the legal 0.08, and had previously said she had both alcohol and cocaine in her blood that was taken at the hospital. Lohan’s lawyers are trying to keep things quiet, but once a plea deal is reached, or the trial is over the details will become public information.

In the picture above Lohan was heading to an AA meeting this past weekend, but she wasn’t wearing her alcohol monitoring ankle bracelet. No one was checking the ankle bracelet anyway, so Lohan ditched the bracelet and decided to just face the cops before they came to her movie set and arrested her down the road.

Then again Lohan’s movie career may finally be over. Have any of the movies she done as an adult actually made any money at all? NO. What Lohan will be losing is her $4.5 million fee per movie.

Lohan was supposed to start filming "Poor Things" with Shirley MacLaine when she was out of rehab. But last week, product vendors including GE and Dell computers, who had been promised placement in the movie in exchange for cash, got a disturbing e-mail from set designer Fontaine Beauchamp Hebb.

Hebb’s e-mail, with the subject line: " ’Poor Things’ has been cancelled," said, "Sorry to be the harbinger of bad news, but I just received a call from Jacky Gilardi, the producer, pulling the plug on the ill-fated film.

"Apparently, Ms. Lohan’s antics in Las Vegas over the weekend have scared the bond companies and all of the funding has been pulled . . . I look forward to working together in the future and trust our next project will not be as fraught with difficulty."

The insurers were said to worry that Lohan, despite wearing an alcohol-monitoring device around her ankle and claiming to take daily drug tests, had gone out clubbing with pals, which included Las Vegas. (Ironically, the plot of "Poor Things" involves two women who befriend and then murder homeless men to collect their life insurance, which is based on a true story.)

If Hollywood is really interested in making good movies they will stop hiring bad actors like Lohan, who they only hire to give them more publicity for their film, which according to revenue per Lohan’s film has never caused her movies to turn a profit. A drawn out, and very dramatic, made for television Lohan DUI trial would make more money in advertising than any of her movies combined.

Lohan would be hell to work with on the set. Stumbling around bumping into people, puking between lines, curling up and going to sleep on other movie sets, then waking up and saying “What’s everyone looking at, I told you I am nod drunk okay,” and pointing at the alocohol monitoring bracelet on her ankle that no one checks.

Next stop in Lohan’s career, the Lifetime channel, or better yet commercials. I’d love to hear Lohan say, “do you suffer from vaginal dryness?” Will this DUI ordeal drive her to drink (more) and do (more) drugs which will send her into another downowrd spiral and lead to eventual death? She’s gonna take the Anna Nicole Smith route, and overdose in some hotel room.

Lindsay Lohan Doesn’t Want to Pay for Bottled Water

We never would have guessed that being sober would result in another opportunity to be "sponsored."

Lindsay Lohan’s no-go 21st birthday party in Las Vegas was notably going to be underwritten by a vodka company – controversial because the until-then underage alcoholic would be leaving rehab to attend.

According to the Gatecrasher, the Ginger is seeking another kind of patronage, this time for elements essential to her sobriety.

It’s H2O-a-go-go for the clean and sober Lindsay Lohan. Says a snitch: "A rep or assistant called Evian’s office on Tuesday, asking for free shipments of Evian to be delivered to Lindsay."

Let’s get this straight. The girl, who famously for smuggled contraband booze around in a water bottle when she was claiming to be sober, is looking for free Evian?

Will Evian bite? Maybe they can use it to start a new ad campaign.

And, Lindsay, is this some new 13th step to the AA process taught only at Promises?

"Profited from our addiction wherever possible and expected handouts at every turn."

Drug Counselor is Identified as the New Man Around Town with Britney Spears

John Sundahl, a real estate investor and fellow AAer, is that mystery guy running around with Britney Spears over the holiday.

He’s said to be her bodyguard, but the two have kept very close company in recent days, fuelling speculation there might be more to it. The pair were spotted out and about in LA, where they shared an intimate dinner at the Four Seasons and later set off to watch the musical Wicked before returning to the hotel together.

Sundahl denied being romantically involved with her a few weeks ago, but either she’s hired him as a chauffeur/bodyguard/dinner companion, or they’re getting cozy again. C’mon, the guy went to see Wicked! He’s definitely into her.

John Sundahl claims he and the Toxic singer are an item after meeting at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in Los Angeles. Sundahl tells the National Enquirer he knows Spears is serious about the romance because she recently helped him recover from bowel surgery. He says, "When I was in the hospital, she sat with me and held my hand all night long. She even sang and hummed to me while I was practically unconscious. "I love being around her. She’s a sweet, caring girl and a good mom." Sundahl claims Spears sought him out for counseling sessions after leaving rehab at Promises in Malibu earlier this year (07), and then started attending AA meetings he staged. The wealthy 38-year-old admits his romance with Spears could scupper part of her estranged husband Kevin Federline’s divorce battle – because the dancer/rapper’s legal team initially subpoenaed Sundahl to testify against the pop star.

Sounds like the Spears-Federline divorce is going to court.

Eva Longoria’s Friends Have a Bad Feeling About Tony Parker

Tony Parker, set to wed Eva Longoria this summer, hasn’t won over all her friends.

The New York Post reports:

Meanwhile, some of Longoria’s pals are worried about Parker. "He is just not gracious," one of them said. "He puts himself ahead of her. He always orders at restaurants before her and is rude to waiters. We just don’t have a good feeling about him."

First of all, this sounds like the sniping of the bitchy, dateless, often-chubby wing-chick-type with which we’re all familiar.

Come on! Are these friends/frenemies married or even in a relationship? They’re describing 90 percent of boyfriends.

Plus, he’s a professional athlete, another group that often gets high marks in the self-centered and rude department.

We’d bet that Eva’s got a handle on it.

Just you wait, meddling, loose-lipped Eva buddies. No need to "worry." Post-wedding Tony will be heard saying, "Whatever you want, dear."

"You’re absolutely right, honey."

And our favorite, "No, of course I don’t mind holding your purse while you shop."

Be afraid, Tony. Be very afraid.

Lindsay Lohan Addicted to Oxycontin Dad Says

E! Online is reporting that, according to her estranged father, Lindsay Lohan is addicted to not only drugs and alcohol, but also the powerful prescription painkiller OxyContin. (pictured is Lindsay at Promises rehab) Her dad told E!:

"I spoke to the people treating Lindsay, because I wanted to make sure she was getting the right care. And I’m satisfied they are doing the right thing for her, helping her detox from the painkillers and things. That’s a very important step."

Michael Lohan himself was an addict, and spent time in jail for a DUI, so he wants nothing better for his little estranged daughter than for her to do her time too. Michael finds out what is going on like everyone else, by reading the gossip blogs. One of these days we’ll see Lindsay on Oprah who will say, "Lindsay brace yourself. I have a surprise for you." Then they’ll bring out Michael, there will be some confusion because Lindsay won’t know who he is, then Oprah will tell her it’s her father, and everyone will break down in tears. Later Lindsay will feel betrayed when she realizes her father, who looks like James Caan, isn’t James after all.

Lindsay is going to be released just before her 21st birthday. That’s like having Rosie O’Donnell fast for 30 days, then release her into a buffet.

Lindsay Lohan Busted for DUI – Cocaine Found in Car

Lindsay Lohan was cited for investigation of driving under the influence Saturday and was slightly injured when her Mercedes struck a curb, police told the Associated Press. Is that Vodka company still going to sponsor Lindsay’s birthday party?

Lohan, 20, and two other passengers were in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible when it crashed at about 5:30 AM into a curb on Sunset Blvd., Sgt. Mike Foxen told the AP. The crash was Lohan’s third accident in about two years.

"She was cited and released because she has been admitted to a local hospital for minor injuries," Foxen said.

No one else was hurt and no other cars were involved, Foxen said. He did not have other details. Officers went to the scene after receiving a 911 call about the accident, Foxen said. He went on to say that Lohan will have to appear in court to answer the citation.

…but there’s now more…

In a press conference this afternoon about the arrest of Lindsay Lohan, cops say they found a "usable amount" of a drug they say was cocaine at the scene. Lt. Mitch McCann of the Beverly Hills Police Department would not say where the drug was found but it was "not on her person."

Police say that 20-year-old Lohan and two other adults were in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible when she lost control and crashed into a curb and trees in Beverly Hills, Calif. around 5:30 AM. After the crash, police say LiLo got into another car and was driven to Century City Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries that involved "something to her upper chest area." The two other people in her car were not hurt they said.

Officers received a 911 call about the accident and "tracked Ms. Lohan to the local hospital, where she was ultimately placed under arrest" for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Lt. McCann said it appeared as if Lohan was speeding and lost control.

Lohan was cited and released and will have to face a judge.

A rep for Lohan could not be reached for comment.

Welcome to the DUI club Lohan. She must have skipped AA to go drinking and drugging. If Lohan can heal up fast enough maybe she can join Paris Hilton in jail.

Lindsay Lohan Has Vodka for her Birthday

Less than three months after leaving rehab, recovering alcoholic and AA member Lindsay Lohan is planning her 21st birthday party, and it will be a 2 day blowout in Las Vegas, sponsored by Svedka vodka. There may not even be a cake, just loads of vodka, or a cake made with vodka that you can pour into a glass with frosting on the rim. The NY Daily News says:

Lohan has lined up Svedka vodka to sponsor her 21st birthday, a rep for the brand confirmed to us yesterday.

It’s part of a deal that could net the star up to seven figures for the July 2-3 celebration.
Other partners include Pure nightclub, Caesars Palace (which is providing a "specially designed" suite) and the Social House restaurant at Treasure Island.

In the pay-to-play world of celebrity events, Vegas nightclubs alone have been known to offer up to $400,000 to land a top name.

Lindsay Lohan might usually be seen in Gucci, Chanel or Prada, but come fall, she’ll be hawking a whole new label: Jill Stuart.

The contemporary sportswear designer has snagged Lohan to be the face of its print ad campaign, which will hit August magazines and run through November. The campaign marks the first time Jill Stuart has chosen a celebrity for her ads.

"I can’t say enough fantastic things about Lindsay," Stuart said of her choice to go with the starlet rather than a model. "She is sexy and smart, exactly what the Jill Stuart woman embodies."

So the message these companies are sending young girls that idolize Lindsay is, if you’re a drunk and drug addicted slut who has family problems, and can’t maintain healthy personal relationships, then you will be rich and famous just like Lindsay. It’s a lot easier to sell self-destructive sex objects than fruits and vegetables. These companies should just be more direct in their ads. Take hand bags for instance. Why not just say, "Buy a BIGGER BAG to hold more Coke," and have Lindsay holding the bag with white power on her hands, and nose.
