Us Magazine is reporting that Angelina Jolie has been very down about A Mighty Heart flopping at the theaters.

Bad box office numbers can be a real bummer. According to a source close to Angelina Jolie, 32, the actress is “devastated” by the audience rejection of her movie A Mighty Heart (it has earned just $9 million).

“She poured her heart into the story and can’t believe people don’t understand how important it is,” the insider tells Us Weekly in this week’s issue.

Helping to lighten her mood: a vacation in France with Brad Pitt, 43, and their four kids.

The whole clan is staying at a $13,818-a-week rental manor in Marthon, which boasts a swimming pool and private theater.

(Family friend Mariane Pearl, whom Jolie played in the film, was seen joining them.)

Says an insider, “Brad and Angelina wanted to get away from everything, and France is a great place to do that.”

Awwww, poor Angelina, the sex-goddess who can lure any man on the planet into her bed. Her movie did badly at the box office. She has to make herself feel better by flying to France on a private jet with her husband, Brad Pitt–you know, the best looking man in the world. When I get depressed, I down a pint of Ben & Jerry’s and chase it with a fifth of Jack.

Victoria Beckham, perhaps taking some lessons from Angelina Jolie’s techniques during the press tour for A Mighty Heart, is throwing her (light)weight around.

Page Six reports that Beckham’s reps "forced reporters to sign contracts before interviewing her."

What was Beckham’s goal? To ensure that reporters asked her questions about her truncated snoozefest reality show "Victoria Beckham: Coming to America," and only that.

Who does she think she is? (Oh yeah…right…she thinks she’s Angelina.)

Here’s the thing: If you can’t ask her about her boobs, hottie-pants David Beckham, their friendship with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, the Scientology rumors, and the Spice Girls reunion, there’s not much to an interview with Posh. Just as there isn’t much to her, literally.

Bummer that she and her reps are the only ones who don’t get it.

The ratings of her "special" could be a wake-up call, but probably not.

According to a poll on Usmagazine.com, A Mighty Heart flopped at the box office this weekend due to the majority of people having an a$$-full of Angelina Jolie.

The Angelina Jolie film A Mighty Heart pulled in only $4 million this weekend, coming in tenth place behind such films as Evan Almighty, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Ocean’s Thirteen, Surf’s Up and Nancy Drew.

So far, 38% of people have chosen "Tired of Angelina" as the reason for not going, as opposed to "Too intense," "Plan to see it eventually," and "Not interested."

Perhaps Angelina is suffering from over-exposure. Or perhaps most people still remember her days of carrying Billy Bob’s blood around her neck, over-sharing details of her sex life, and the oogie lip-lock with her brother, James, after she won her Oscar for Girl, Interrupted. Shivers.

Angelina Jolie told Marie Claire magazine that she doesn’t think she’s ever seriously said "I love you" to Brad Pitt.

She said, "I don’t think we’ve ever said (I love you). I mean, I’m sure we have, but we would have to punch each other in the arm first."

Angelina Jolie took the kids to school this morning. Brad is usually the one doing this. Maybe this is Angelina’s way of saying she’s sorry after the movie Brad’s company bankrolled, and Angelina was in (A Mighty Heart), bombed at the box office over the weekend.

Angelina is such a special person. She never says I love you, or I’m sorry. She just kicks you in the nuts and says, "There ya go, satisfied now?"

Despite critics kissing Angelina Jolie’s butt, A Mighty Heart still managing to take last place at the box office. It’s time for saint Angelina to realize her crap doesn’t smell like roses. The saddest part is Brad Pitt’s company, along with Paramount, partnered to bring us the box office turd A Mighty Heart, which is truly a compelling story worth telling.
