Michael Jackson as Captain EO Returning to Disney Theme Park

  Share

A short 3D movie called Captain EO, which starred Michael Jackson, and played at Disneyland in the 1980s, may return in January 2010. The movie was directed by Francis Ford Coppola, with the screenplay by George Lucas who was also the Executive Producer, and the music and choreography by Michael Jackson.

A final decision will be made by Disney execs if the movie will be played again on September 10. The decsion is most likely based on a deal with Jackson’s estate to see how much compensation will be payed. Chances are the deal will be approved.

In the meantime, you can see the whole movie right here, except the 3D glasses may not work very well with a computer screen.

michael jackson overdose Michael Jackson Was Cash Broke

Michael Jackson had only $668,215 in the bank in cash when he died. Here’s the breakdown of his assets:

According to the documents, Jackson’s net worth was estimated at $1,360,839,979 on July 31, 2007. Of the total assets $1,150,000,000 is the Sony-ATV Publishing Trust (Beatles Catalog).

The other assets are as follows:

  • Real property $73,475,000 (Neverland valued at $66,875,000, Encino Home valued at $6,600,000)
Restricted cash $10,696,764 (this is a cash reserve to pay interest on loans)
    Media Archival materials $20,000,000
    MJ Publishing Trust $85,000,000
    Professional equipment $1,000,000
Automobiles, antiques, collectibles & other personal property $20,000,000

As for liabilities, the biggest was Neverland Ranch at $323,000,000. The description "Notes payable to Fortress are collateralized by Mr. Jackson’s interest in the Sony-ATV Publishing Trust and a partial security interest in the Los Olivos, California (Neverland) property. Additionally, as of March 31, 2007, the bank holds restricted cash in the approximate amount of $7,803,621. With other liabilities, the sum comes to $331,000,000."

Combined assets totaled $1,360,839,979.

Jackson was worth a lot on paper, but he didn’t have much cash to spend, which explains why he was getting sued for unpaid pharmacy bills.

Michael Jackson Died from Overdose of Propofol

michael jackson overdose Michael Jackson Died from Overdose of Propofol

There is a rumor that Dr. Conrad Murray may be charged with manslaughter in the coming week, and now the toxicology results have been leaked showing that Michael Jackson died from too much Propofol mixed with other drugs. TMZ reports what Murray told cops, and other details police have gathered in their investigation so far:

Dr. Conrad Murray told cops he had been treating Jackson for 6 weeks for insomnia — giving him 50 milligrams of Propofol every night through an IV.

Murray told cops he feared Jackson was getting addicted so he reduced the dosage to 25 mg.

The morning Jackson died, Dr. Murray gave Jackson valium at 1:30 AM. Murray said the valium didn’t work so he gave the singer an IV injection of lorazepam — an anti-anxiety drug. Murray told cops Jackson was still awake, so he then gave him midazolam — a sedative.

Murray gave Jackson more drugs. He says at 10:40 AM, he administered 25 mg of Propofol. Dr. Murray told cops Jackson repeatedly demanded the drug.

As we first reported, cops found 8 bottles of Propofol in Jackson’s house after he died, but they do not know where it was purchased.

Cops also found Valium, Tamsulosin, Lorazepam, Temazepam, Clonazepam, Trazodone and Tizanidine, along with the Propofol.

The various drugs were prescribed by Dr. Murray, Dr. Arnold Klein and Dr. Allan Metzger.

Dr. Murray reportedly told cops 10 minutes after administering Propofol … he "left Jackson’s side to go to the restroom and relieve himself. Murray stated he was out of the room for about 2 minutes maximum. Upon his return, Murray noticed that Jackson was no longer breathing."

Dr. Murray says he began CPR and at some point ran downstairs and asked the chef to send up Prince Jackson, the eldest son, then Murray continued performing CPR.

Dr. Murray says he noticed that Jackson wasn’t breathing at around 11 AM. He was then on the cell phone for 47 minutes with 3 separate calls, from 11:18 to 12:05. The 911 call came in at 12:21 PM …. a much longer delay than originally reported.

Dr. Murray told cops other docs had administered Propofol to Jackson, including Las Vegas Dr. David Adams. Dr. Murray said he was at a cosmetologist’s office where Dr. Adams gave Jackson Propofol.

Interestingly, according to the warrant, Dr. Murray refused to sign the death certificate at the UCLA Medical Center.

If all these details are accurate the only opinion I could conclude was that Murray deliberately allowed Jackson to remain in a state where he was not breathing until his heart stopped, and then attempted chest compression on the bed without back support. In my opinion this is more than manslaughter. Murray’s experience, and competency, are both in question here.

The bottom line is that the coroner ruled Jackson’s death a homicide, so Murray should be charged with manslaughter or worse in 3 … 2 … 1.

Mark Lester On Today Show Claiming He May Have Fathered Jackson Children

  Share

Mark Lester, a British former child star and godfather to Michael Jackson’s three kids, sat down with Matt Lauer on the Today Show Friday to address rumors that he may be Paris Jackson’s sperm donor.

"There’s a possibility that one, or, very unlikely, but all of those kids could be mine," he said. When Lauer pressed him on whether he knew definitively if he was Paris’s biological father, he said he had "no idea, and even if I was, it would make absolutely no difference to the status quo of the family."

"Michael was very shy when it came to women, and he confided in me that he actually found it very difficult to do the s*xual act," Lester said. And so, in a seeming non-sequitur, Jackson asked Lester for his sperm around the time Paris was conceived.

Lester failed to explain why Jackson’s anxieties about having sex with women impaired his ability to father a child in a test tube.

"Whether he wanted to increase the chances of artificial insemination, he just said he was very very nervous and didn’t feel like he was up to going through the act," he said. "I had given something as a gift and I didn’t want anything in return for it. That was it. End of story."

Lester, 51, is a father of four in London. He said he would take a paternity test "if called upon" but doesn’t want to take on any role other than godfather and friend. He refrained from drawing any conclusions from split-screen shots of Paris and himself, and more puzzling, Paris and his own 15-year-old blonde, fair-skinned daughter.

"She’s absolutely beautiful, and I would be honored if that came from me," he said.

It is possible that the Jackson family want to keep any and all men, who could have been sperm donors, away from the children until they have the children legally locked into their custody, so they can control Michael’s estate and money. Lester appears credible to me, and he doesn’t stand to benefit in any way, that I know of, by speaking out on the possibility that he could have fathered at least Paris. I’d like to hear your thoughts.
