Jamie Foxx Threatens Michael Richards

  Share

Pictured above is Jamie Foxx at a Jay-Z party on 11-22.

Jamie said, “When I see him (Michael Richards), it’s on. I’m not going to let him get away with it.”

“If I’d have been in the audience he would’ve had to put his dukes up. He probably should go get a private island somewhere, cause if I see him …”

Those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Many of the same people who preach against racism are guilty of it. If you want to be productive then help those like Michael Richards who are willing to apologize and try to effect personal change. If you don’t then all you are doing is cultivating conflict between the races. Save that attitude for those people who won’t apologize and won’t change their perspective.

Carmen Electra Dating Jamie Foxx

Carmen Electra seemed to be enjoying her newly single status with Jamie Foxx the other night. The duo arrived together at Hollywood hot spot Element to catch a “surprise” performance by Gnarls Barkley. “Jamie’s arm was around Carmen more than once and whispers were exchanged several times,” say sources. “No one saw them kissing, but they left together out the back. It seemed like they were out on a date.” Electra, who was not wearing her wedding ring, announced her separation from hubby Dave Navarro last week.

After Two Years Director Michael Mann Agreed to Do Miami Vice Movie

  Share

Oscar winner Jamie Foxx spent two years trying to persuade director Michael Mann to make a big screen version of 1980s TV series Miami Vice. Foxx met Mann at a birthday party for legendary boxer Muhammad Ali in 2001, and immediately set about pitching his dream of starring in a Miami Vice movie.

Mann says, “Jamie said I should make ’Miami Vice.’ He did 20 minutes on why I should do it, doing the sound effects and the cars and everything. Then he worked on me for about two years and finally I succumbed.”

Lindsay Lohan Takes On Paris Hilton and P. Diddy

Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton

It was a busy, and feisty, night for Lindsay Lohan (Blohan) last Friday in New York. The freckled phenom not only mixed it up with Paris Hilton, she got into it with P. Diddy and his posse as well.

According to Rush & Molly, during an impromptu private concert given by Prince at the downtown celeb-boite Butter, Lohan spotted Hilton and followed her into the bathroom to continue their ongoing feud concerning one-time Hilton paramour Stavros Niarchos. When she came back, Diddy and his people had slipped into her booth, which Lohan apparently joked about – a gesture that Diddy didn’t receive too kindly.

“He didn’t realize she was joking,” says R&M’s source, “and he then yelled at her and told her to get out,” at which point a Diddy bodyguard had her forcibly removed. A member of Diddy’s group remembers it differently in Page Six: “Lindsay was being so loud and obnoxious. His security became concerned and came over to escort her away.” Regardless, Lohan left the club and moved on later to Bungalow 8, where her entourage and Hilton’s gang had yet another stare-down.

Hilton’s rep Elliot Mintz tells R&M that “Paris was in the ladies room [at Butter] applying her makeup when Lindsay knocked on the door. But there was no battle. Paris has nothing negative to say about Lindsay.”

And so the battle of good and evil continues bwahahahaha.

Miami Vice A Major Bomb?

  Share

Miami Vice
Miami Vice

Weeks before its release, the buzz on “Miami Vice,” director Michael Mann’s remake of his Eighties TV series, isn’t good, according to Fox News’ Roger Friedman. The flick, despite the pedigree of its helmer and the two stars, Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx, appears to be “a good-looking empty shell of a movie,” says Friedman.

The film is costing $125 million, according to an insider, and might be as much as $150 million. “Michael still has time to fix it, but not much,” says a source, referring to the film’s July 28 opening. “But he would have to pull off a miracle to make it work.”

Farrell is hoping for the miracle, Friedman notes that his last several films (”The New World,” “Alexander,” “SWAT,” among them) have been notable duds.
