Jimmy Fallon Late Night Online

Jimmy Fallon is set to replace Conan O’Brien on Late Night, and O’Brien will replace Jay Leno on the Tonight Show. To garner more interest, NBC will debut Fallon line several months before the show starts.

NBC tried to retain Leno, but he said he’ll find a job elsewhere. It doesn’t appear Leno, who is the king of late night television, was ready to retire. NBC has made a lot of bad business decisions, so we’ll have to wait and see how Fallon and O’Brien do.

Jimmy Fallon Confirmed as New Late Night Host

Jimmy Fallon will be officially named as the new host of Late Night when Conan O’Brien takes over the Tonight Show after Jay Leno steps down. A news conference is planned for Monday to make the announcement.

Fallon is a funny guy, but I still can’t see him succeeding as a late night host. Surprise me Fallon!

Clay Aiken was on QVC to promote his CD. He even sang his new single The Real Me. The entire song screams of a gay man who is aching to come out. If Clay had just been open about his sexuality he may have become a bigger star, and instead of appearing on QVC, he could have been promoting his album on David Letterman, Jay Leno, and Conan O’Brien.

With Conan O’Brien taking over for Jay Leno in 2009, Jimmy Fallon has been named to replace Conan. Although I wish Jimmy a lot of luck, because he’s really going to need it, I get the feeling this is going to have the same short airing as The Chevy Chase Show back in 1993, which aired for something like a month. A perfect fit for late night is just so rare. There will never be another Johnny Carson.

david-letterman-return David Letterman Back on the Air

David Letterman owns his own show through his company Worldwide Pants, and he has been a member of the Writers Guild Of America for more than 30 years. Letterman has made an "interim agreement" with the WGA so he can bring his show back on the air possibly as soon as next week. CBS was not happy with Letterman’s deal. Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien are both hired talent by NBC, and NBC doesn’t want to make a fair deal with the writers that make them so much money, but they still plan to also bring their shows back on the air January 7 without WGA writers.
