Finally a news source we are inclined to believe, PEOPLE, is reporting that Ashlee Simpson is not only pregnant, but getting married in May. The source even said the wedding will be held at a friend’s house in La Jolla, California, which is up the hill from San Diego. There’s even a Walmart nearby, so they can order a cheap cake. Earlier today Ashlee denied her pregnancy saying, "Some things you want to keep personal."

The whole video of Ashlee pregnant was just a smoke screen so we wouldn’t know she really is.

Ashlee passed up a $4 million dollar offer to pose for Playboy, so she must be holding out on the pregnancy news to score a big pay check with baby pictures. Very sneaky.

Ashlee Simpson appeared on MTV’s TRL Tuesday, and was asked about the pregnancy rumor. Ashlee said:

"If all the rumors about her were true, I would have had a baby by now."

Ashlee’s TRL appearance will air Thursday.

Ashlee and Pete Wentz helped spread those pregnancy rumors in a video they did. For now, Ashlee doesn’t appear to have any bump we could call evidence, but she is getting married, so the time will come.

Marriage will also help quiet the bisexual rumors that plague Pete, who admits to prefer wearing DKNY women’s jeans. He even has his own "unisex" clothing line, which he says is not only liberating, but “it cuts down on your budget wearing your girlfriend’s clothes.” Wearing your girlfriend’s clothes is usually called gay. Looks like Ashlee will soon be marrying her bff. Maybe Pete will even volunteer to carry the baby.

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson made video back in February of 2008 showing Ashlee Simpson faking a pregnancy. The couple just announced that they are engaged to be married, and suddenly Us Magazine and OK! magazine are reporting that Ashlee is really pregnant, but now Pete is denyingAshlee is pregnant in an interviewed with MTV:

"There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood," he wrote. "This is all news to me. I can’t wait for the story about how I’m really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover. … I mean really, this is crazy. … I mean we’re engaged, that’s true, and happy about it."

Asked again if he was denying reports that Simpson is pregnant, Wentz replied:

"Yeah."

Pete seems pretty annoyed, but he only has himself to thank for these rumors. Maybe Pete and Ashlee haven’t told Papa Joe yet.

According to a source Ashlee Simpson is PREGNANT! This will be teh first child for Ashlee (23) and Pete Wentz (28). When they announced their engagement on Wedenesday they said:

"We are thrilled to confirm their engagement and congratulate this happy couple. Beyond that there is nothing to say."

When Papa Joe heard Ashlee was pregnant he probably had a lot to say, like they better get married, and quick. Another shotgun wedding. With the rush to the altar I knew Ashlee had to be pregnant.

Looks like Ashley won’t be able to promote her new record. Sucks to be her label right now.

Pete Wentz got down on one knee and asked the girl of his dreams, Ashlee Simpson, to marry him, and she said yes. Pete even got her a ring to seal the deal. papa Joe even approved the deal, so the couple released the following statement:
