- 50 Cent commenting on the Tony Yayo assault case, a member of 50 Cent’s notorious G-Unit crew, was arrested last week for allegedly attacking the 14-year-old son of music industry rival Jimmy (Henchmen) Rosemond last month in Manhattan.

Even though most of what he said seems difficult to interpret, the "Je-Je-Je-Jew unit" says it all. Either 50 Cent is a Jew hating racist, or he’s saying Jews are tougher than he is. I don’t know about tougher, but maybe smarter.

Hollywood Grind has just confirmed that rapper 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson) was arrested earlier today in Manhattan. Law enforcement officials in an unmarked car pulled over the star’s silver Lamborghini at the corner of 8th Ave. and 35th Ave. in Midtown New York.

Police said they removed Fitty from his car and cuffed him in front of several witnesses. He was issued two summons as well for an expired parking permit he had displayed in his car window and an unsafe lane change.

Update: Rapper 50 Cent was arrested in New York on Friday for driving
dangerously in an uninsured Lamborghini through Midtown Manhattan, police and
witnesses said.

The recording artist, whose given name is Curtis Jackson, was pulled over by an
unmarked patrol car. At first he refused a police order to get out of the car,
instead making a call on his cell phone, tourist Ian Parvess said.

“Eventually the cops opened the door. … He just got out of the car and put his
hands on the car and they put the cuffs on him,” Parvess, who videotaped the
arrest, told Reuters.

A police spokesman said he was cited for making an unsafe lane change, driving
with an expired permit, driving without insurance and driving without a vehicle
registration.

He was due to be released as soon the the summonses could be written, the
spokesman said.
