Strange Colorful Clouds before Sichuan earthquake in China
These colorful cloud formations appeared in the sky about 30 mins before the May 12, 2008 Sichuan earthquake took place. This was recorded in Tianshui, Gansu province about 450 km northeast of epicenter, by someone using a cell phone. There is speculation that gaseous particles were released prior to the earthquake which caused the colorful clouds. Video footage of the clouds were taken from all over China. This is just one of those videos. Click here to see a satellite image of the epicenter, the intensity of the quake, and the location where the video was taken in relation to the earthquake.

I don’t think there’s any co-relationship between the colorful cloud and the earthquake. The colorful cloud in Chinese tradition is a possitive sign which symbolic good fortune and prosperity. Maybe it is god or goddess apprear on the sky…or simply just like the rainbow appears on the sky after the rain.
love and suppport for sichuan~!
ironically, the background music is a buddhist hymn…
Bless all the victims and volunteers in Sichuan, China.
