With all the hype of the release of the new Indiana Jones movie and the strong desire to see it, I managed to put it off until it wasn’t even playing in theatres anymore. Lo and behold it was released on video yesterday and I rented it because I strongly wanted to watch and enjoy the movie.
By pure coincidence, the new season of South Park began in Canada yesterday also. I have to say that the writers hit it on the nose.
I thought it was a good representation of how I felt after Indy was over and how glad I was that I didn’t waste my time in the theatre. Either Lucas and Spielberg are out of touch with what they believe people want to watch or they just don’t care because they know they can scam millions anyway.
I was thinking that an Indy DVD set would be a good christmas gift… after watching that crap those a-holes aren’t getting another cent from me.
