Sophie Monk and Benji Madden Now a Couple

Sophie Monk and Benji Madden have officially announced they are a couple. Very cool. I wish them a lot of luck. Here’s more from the Daily Telegraph who got announced this story first despite other gossip blogger’s claims:

SHE’S always been more pop princess than rock’n’roll queen – now Hollywood hot-stuff Sophie Monk is making music in the mosh pit with Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden.

Monk’s spokeswoman yesterday confirmed the romance between the US punk god and the Aussie actress, who were snapped in LA this week.

“It’s still fairly new but, yes, they have been dating,’’ Monk’s Sydney rep told Confidential.

While his obvious penchant for tattoos paint Madden as a bad boy, word is he’s a good guy underneath all the excess ink.

“Sophie’s just told me he’s a really nice boy,’’ the spokeswoman said.

Despite being one of the sauciest new stars of the screen, Monk – who has just wrapped filming on her latest movie Spring Breakdown – has been without a fulltime Hollywood handbag since she arrived in Tinsletown last year.

Madden had a fling with Killing Heidi front woman Ella Hooper in 2001.
