totally agree with Jennie. I didnt think she handled it well at all. She could have at least apologised for her mistake, rather than sitting there with an annoying haughty arrogance. I thought the interviewer did a great job and professional in apologising for any misunderstanding even though she wasnt the cause of it.

I saw the video clip and honestly it wasnt anything great, just average. Apart from music influence from her mum’s tastes, perhaps she should also take a lesson or 2 from her sister on singing lessons and approperiate chic dressing for interviews – instead of looking like a club singer. She’s not Pink, so stop trying so hard to look cool. its pathetic

  i cannot believe people call that music to begin with. i call is screeching into the mike. And this is not aimed at the singer but the group of people who thinks she should be singing this crap. Secondly, the dance moves are not in line with a teenager regardless whether it is MJ moves. Again, not aim at Miley but at the adult who had taught and staged the dance moves. The singer is just doing what she is “taught”, but look at the male dance who was grating himself at miley from the back, is that something that should be “done” is something worth thinking about. I dont have to apologise that I prefer to watch wholesome performance from kids who are under 21yrs old. One once derailed britney spears and one still derailing linsay lohan is enuff. how many more non self respecting teen stars do we need to continue to support or say “oh its ok?”

  firstly, i like to correct those opinions that children from orhanage in other countries out of the so call united states will DIE if we are not adopted. I personally have close friends who grew up being orphans, requiring special needs and turn out fine and happy. Just because they are so call ”given” up by their birth parents does not necessary equate they will not be happy if otherwise.

  I think HG point is not about the baby whether special needs or not, its probably a outloud thought that many celebrities esp those in hollywood are so call adopting baby thinking they are doing the world many good.

  well, how about providing money, direct it to a fund and help A LOCAL family adopt these while maintaing our own heritage and culture.

  for the uninitated, some of the babies that are adopted by celebrities are not without parents, and frankly some of these parents just have too many kids because they refuse to use contraceptives.

  and another, just because being adopted by celebrities isnt definitely something worthy of elebrating because all the limelight and attention can do more stress than good to a child growing up, plus who knows if these hollywood stars ever stay married for long. LOOK at madonna, splitting up, remarrying and all that sh!t, u think this is good balance env that can instill the right values, yeah right, prob in united states but necessary in other countries.

  i have grown friends, korean, who were adopted as it seemed to be a fad then in the 70s. he was adopted by sweden family and knew nothing of korean hertiage. he married a korean wife and while he love his adoptive parents, he wished he knew more about his own heritage and native language while he was growing up.

  so my point is, dont take it out on HG just becoz he has an opinion. if u are adopting, good on u. but make sure u know what the child want, and not what you want.

  Mitch, U have my vote on the matter. There’s a term for Miley and her supporters on this matter.. it’s call “immaturity”. or in a more simpler form “Childishness”.

  What Miley did may or may not have been intended as racist act, but it was still poking fun at other people. What happen to “manners” and “approperiate speech and behaviour”?

  One would thought a pop teen could be more prudent in her behaviour. We dont expect saintly behaviour, but we do hope for approperiateness and more lateral thinking, which is sadly demonstrated that she has none.
