Simon Cowell Will Quit If Sanjaya Malakar Wins American Idol
American Idol judge Simon Cowell admits he was stunned when contestant Sanjaya Malakar beat rocker Sundance Head for a place in the final 12 on Thursday night, and says he’ll leave the show if the Indian-American singer is crowned the next "American Idol." Cowell says, "He’s not going to win. I won’t be back if he does." Maybe Simon knows something we don’t.
Perhaps Simon knows that Sanjay and Antonella Barba are the same person. Ever notice they’ve never performed together? Heaven help us if there are scandalous pics of Sanjay coming out soon.

the ONLY reason he’s still on there is because he’s getting the votes from the gay community and India. he needs to be shanked with a spork before I go crazy.

Holy CRAP… can you people not SEE how flamingly GAY Sanjaya is and how he’s only getting votes from the 10-16/ butt-munch crowd? The show is ridiculous this season and I can’t even watch it anymore. Sanjaya is so BORING, LACKS TALENT, and is not just a little, but VERY CREEPY. Ugh. I get a little vomit in the back of my throat whenever I see him.
He is 17 and probably doesn’t even understand if he is gay himself.. let us look at his talents and not his personal traits. I think for a 17 year old he is performing at the top of his abilities.

Sanjaya did very well in his audition. In fact, all three judges put him through to Hollywood. He’s young and untrained. However, he is getting votes which keep him on the show. Will he win? Probably not. He did make the top 10 so he will tour with AI an dbe featured on their album. Sort of reminds me of Bucky from last season. That guy wasn’t very good but alot of people voted for him.
Y’all sound like wanna be record producers that actually know something about music. How many have actually produced a record, scouted for talent or even been featured on an album?
Get over yourselves. You aren’t that educated about music, talent seaches or what the public wants. I don’t know what it is about Sanjaya. He’s not the best singer on the show but, for some reason, he gets votes. That’s how it works. I couldn’t believe Chris was in the bottom 2 last week. America is fickle. Figure that one out and make a $1,000,000.
Look at all these little fanatics who cry about Sanjaya winning. Awwwwww!!! Ain’t my fault you guys are obsessed with American Idol and take it so seriously. I never watched American Idol until I found out there were losers who I could piss off by voting for the worst. Now I watch American Idol all the time and constantly try to vote for Sanjaya just to piss you tender hearted geeks off.

I’m a Sanjaya fan. And Simon can GFH. Sanjaya is a great talent and performer. The singing contest is over. That was the judges job. From now on its looks, style, charm, song choice and performance. How dare Simon say such a ridiculously mean thing about one of his own contestants? Obviously it’s to offset the freak vote from VFTW & a publicity starved Howard Stern. Sanjaya fans unite!! DialIdol Sanjaya to AI victory & Simon back to the Queen!
Oh come on he’s not that bad. In fact I think he’s pretty good. Some of the women look like they belong to a gospel group singing rock gospel style. I think that is horrible, the kid looks fresh, young voice and energetic. He looks far from boring like some of the rest. I would vote for him.
Honestly, he makes me want to cry and say out loud “please buddy leave on your own”.. Good talents are getting wasted because of him…and to think that we indians are supporting him, guess my comment clears all..Sanjaya please Go
Sanjaya is gay and is getting the gay vote. He couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket. When he sang “You really got me now” I had to turn my head in shame and ask myself WTF? Somebody needs to tell the poor boy or whatever he/she/it is to gracefully resign.
I can’t stand Sanjaya. He makes me want to puke when he sticks out his tounge. I don’t see an ounce of talent in him. I think it is a shame that people are voting for the worst singer. I would never buy anything that promotes the flaming Sanjaya.
I wouldn’t watch the show if it wasn’t for Simon. He makes it. I crack up everytime he critiques someone.
Of course I love both Simon and Sanjaya, but that is really mean of what Simon said to Sanjaya. First thing whydon’t you Randy and Paula decide who goes home every week until the winner. Why did you let Sanjaya into the finals and why quit the biggest job you have on tv. Sanjaya and Simon are probably worst enimeies.
There is obviously a disproportionate amount of people voting for Sanjaya. Is it a joke? Who knows. But the choice of men this year is sad. There were some sent to Hollywood seen in those first episodes that had real personality and good voices. But now there aren’t any real distinct personalities like last season–even Bucky Covington had an appealing shtick. The judges dropped the ball. The voting is now out of their hands but originally they made the choices. Shame on them. The only bright spot is Melinda Doolittle who’s set the bar so high, that aside from Lakisha all of the girls are of highschool talent show quality.
If America votes on talent, remember this is a singing contest, then plain and simple, Sanjaya will not win, he’s talented, had to be to get this far, but others on the show are better.
Simon is a good guy, but sanjaya is even better!

I hope Simon kicks himself out of American Idol, which is a stupid show anyway!
Funny, folks voted for him because of how he looks not how he sings… yet during the first rounds the judges aren’t behind a screen they are looking at the contestants and judging them on how they look as much as how they sing… if its purely about singing let the judges do their part without being able to even see the contestants. Maybe the first rounds by the public should also be done blind.
Simon is correct…..this is a singing contest, not a popularity contest. The best singer should win…..if we the fans vote him in, then the show will be cancelled, for without Simon it is just another reality show.
The should would tank if Simon was not on it. People love to hate him- he is a huge reason for their ratings. He is right- I mean, the kid seems nice enough, but it is painful to watch him perform, I feel embarrassed FOR him listening to him sing.
I now know how to get rid of Simon I will have everyone that works for me my family & as many votes I can FOR Sanjaya I HOPE!!! Sanjaya wins by a landslide.
