Sienna Miller, who appears in the new G.I. Joe movie, recently told Nylon magazine:

"It’s really exciting to be in a film that people actually want to go and see! I was having to pay people to see my movies!… certain really great directors have wanted to do films with me, but unless you’ve had a film that’s opened with a certain amount of money, you’re not bankable to studios… if you want to make amazing, artistic films, you’ve got to have some sort of box office credibility, which I don’t have."

At least Miller understands where she stands in Hollywood. It takes hard work, and talent, to gain credibility, and a lot of charisma to be bankable.

    OK, so I will always give the Sienna Millers and Megan Foxes of the world a chance because in 1976 I went an saw a movie called King Kong, and was unimpressed by the movie as well as the female lead, who I dismissed as “bimbo eye candy”. Well, it wasn’t the first time nor the last time I was wrong about something. The actresses name?

    Almost everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, but I tell you now I’m not going to see G.I. Joe for Sienna Miller’s acting ability . . .
