I’m an american living in Wuxi China, I’m very Sorry that Sharon Stone blames karma on what happened to the chinese people.She is not a represention of what decent human beings feel about the earthquake victims in china. Soon after Sharon Stone made the KARMA speech, more than millions of people in China start to take actions to against her. Dior has receives millions of emails and phone calls. On May27 Dior PR had a public speech, Dior has nothing to do with Sharon Stone’s personal opinion about the Chinese earthquake and thinking about replacing her as a representative for Dior.

The earthquake-hit areas are called Ethnic Tibetant Autonomous Region, which is near to Tibet. In March, this region was hit by riots organized by Dalai Lama’s organization. In May, it was hit by natural disaster.
According to Tibetant religion, Lama should hold some ceremony for the dead people; now Panchen Lama is leading all the lamas to pray for the dead people in China. Panchen Lama is another spiritual leader for Tibetant people, a highly respected Lama in China. He lives in China now.
But Dalai Lama is visiting Europe to enjoy his political life and also meet Sharon to tell her the earthquake is a karma.

First of all, the Chinese government is to blame with regards to their bad human rights record. There’s no point in denying it. China, even though it is not the only country with such a bad human rights record, has constantly been critisized in this area because of it’s economic prosperity. Second, the victims in this earthquake are innocent. They are just like you, me, and everyone else. Yes, including you “huge” celebrities…trust me, you guys are nothing special. No one needs to go through the pain of seeing their parents, children, sibling, and friends die. Third, such a comments that show how inconsiderate people can be should be kept private. Fourth, Sharon Stone and anyone else how has made comments similar to this one should apoligize. Not only because of the hurtfulness of this comment, but also because not only did she not offer any help, she made it worse by promoting hate.
You think you know China well. But all you know is from your biased medium. Actually, Chinese government has been different from before. They concern the people the most. They do their best to protect the people from been hurt by riots launched by Dalai. Could you see the truth? You will never know a real China if you have been abandoned your bias.
