penn stain Sean Penn Keeps the Hate and Quest for Revenge Alive

Actor Sean Penn called for the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Cheney and used the words “bl–job” and “c-m stain” in his acceptance speech for the Christopher Reeve First Amendment Award in New York Monday night, Fox News reports.

The Creative Coalition, a group started by actors Christopher Reeve, Ron Silver, and Susan Sarandon, among others, honored Penn with the award before a crowd that included Heather Graham, Laurence Fishburne, Kerry Washington, Harvey Keitel, Marcia Gay Harden, Joe Pantoliano, Richard Belzer, and Richard Schiff.

The famously liberal actor decided to stir the pot in his “impassioned” acceptance speech arguing against the war in Iraq (pausing to answer his cell phone mid-diatribe). (Penn was saying something he cared about so much, that he had to stop to answer his cell phone. LOL)

"Let’s put his administration under oath," the 46-year-old Oscar-winning actor proposed. "And then if the crimes of treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors are proven, do as Article 2, Section 4 of the United States Constitution provides, and remove the president, vice president, and … civil officers of the United States from office."

He added: "If the Justice Department then sees fit to bunk them up with [disgraced former Enron CEO] Jeff Skilling, so be it."

Penn also shocked the crowd by saying: "So look, if we attempt to impeach for lying about a bl–job, yet accept these almost certain abuses without challenge, we become a c-m stain on the flag we wave."

Obviously, liberal democrats like Sean Penn who use their celebrity status to make political statements, and are still pissed off that Bill Clinton had to undergo impeachment hearings, so in an attempt at revenge Penn does everything he can to attack Bush. What Penn doesn’t acknowledge is that a majority of fellow Americans elected Bush, and he should respect the majority’s decision. The majority of American decided who would be President of the United States just like when Bill Clinton was President. I’m just glad Penn didn’t attack Bush’s innocent daughters. I really didn’t like seeing President Clinton go through impeachment hearings for a BJ, and although it was a huge embarrassment for Americans all over the world, Congress should have thought of a more appropriate punishment like censorship. Everyone needs to respect the office of the President, even if they don’t like the President personally. Sean Penn’s comments just reinforce the fact that he’s a buffoon, who is blinded by his unrestrained hate, and inability to maintain his own self discipline. If the President were democrat Penn would expect everyone to respect him/her, so he, and others like him, should show the same respect. Practice what you preach brother Penn.
