Scarlett Johansson Gets STD Checks Regularly

Scarlett Johansson doesn’t want you to think she’s like Sienna Miller, and she doesn’t want you to think she’s a promiscuous slut. However, Scarlett does get tested for STDs and HIV every six months, despite being in a relationship, and nothing she said points to her boyfriend being a cheater, so that leaves only her. SCARLETT JOHANSSON has stunned Tinseltown by admitting she gets tested for HIV every six months.

However the actress, currently dating her BLACK DAHLIA co-star JOSH HARNETT, is keen to stress that she is not promiscuous – instead she takes the tests because she is ‘socially aware’.

Scarlett revealed: "I get tested for HIV twice a year. But contrary to popular belief, I’m not promiscuous.

"It’s part of being a decent human, to be tested for STDs. It’s disgusting when people don’t. It’s so irresponsible."

In an interview with Allure magazine, the star also backed up Sienna Miller’s recent claims that monogamy goes against nature.

She added: "I do think on some basic level we are animals, and by instinct we kind of breed accordingly.

"But as much as I believe that, I work really hard when I’m in a relationship to make it work in a monogamous way.

"There does seem to be a mistaken belief out there that I am sexually available somehow – which is not to say that I’m not open-minded about sex, yet I wouldn’t say I’m a serial monogamist, either.

"I mean, I went through periods of time when I was single. But when I’m in a relationship, I’m in a relationship."

Talking about her beau Josh, she gushed: "He is very sweet. He’s a good boy. A great person. I’m very lucky and I’m very happy."
