Ernst Hanfstaengl was one of the first supporters …
Comment posted Sarah Palin and the Alaska Independence Party by JoJo.
Ernst Hanfstaengl was one of the first supporters of Hitler and a member of the Nazi party before becoming disenchanted with the movement after falling out of favor. He left the Nazis and Germany in 1937.
Just because Sarah Palin left the AIS doesn’t mean she didn’t believe in their goal. After all, are you telling me that she’s so stupid as to not get their mission the minute she heard the name Alaskan ‘Independence’ Party?

“With as much money as Hugh Laurie is making on his hit TV show House, you’d think he could affair some hair plugs to fix that bald spot.”I’m sure he can ‘afford’ hair plugs but isn’t so superficial as to let it bother him.
Nice slip btw, so Obama’s a muslim and you’re cheating on your partner?

Hopefully she’ll replace Paula, who is plastic in real life compared to her on stage persona.

The simple fact remains:
the Palins are White Trash.
While I have a lot of regard for Sen. McCain (he should have gotten the nod 8 years ago) I find his V.P. choice to be a rather cynical and desperate decision.
Yes, he’s well known for his “maverick” decision making ability, but this is a move well beneath him.
No doubt Gov. Palin is an acomplished women, but she’s in beyond her depth and the problems facing The States don’t allow for much of a learning curve.
I’ve grown-up hearing that there was very little differance between the two parties when it came time to elect a new President and, consequently, no “real choice.”
Note: The notion that *Alaskan* Gov. Palin’s experience rivals Sen. Obama’s is hardly worth addressing.
This go round I agree with that statement. There really isn’t much of a choice, because the G.O.P. hasn’t given us a true alternative to Sen. Obama.
