Sarah Palin and Joe Biden Debate – Who Won?

sarah palin and joe biden debate Sarah Palin and Joe Biden Debate Who Won?

In the Sarah Palin and Joe Biden Vice Presidential debate, Palin performed much better than expected, and was able to go toe-to-toe with Biden. Palin is a great communicator.

I would like to see Biden go back and read the United States Constitution. If you don’t know what I’m talking about you have to wait to see the full video. We’ll post video of the debate as soon as it comes online.

The one person who definitely lost is Hillary Clinton. Palin proved herself to be a superstar, and is now the most popular woman in politics, and I should add, Palin did it all with NO help from her husband, as Hillary had to do.

Who do you think won the debate?

Please, enough snide commentary regarding the validity of Hillary Clinton’s career. She had established ambitions before and after her husband’s presidency and to say that she “had” to rely on his position is hugely insulting.

Being vice president elect does not make Sarah Palin a political superstar or the “most popular woman.” Television airtime does not equate to popularity. Rather, I wish the nation was more aware of those women working behind the scenes, in relative anonymity.

And besides, to pit these two women against each other is irrelevant. One was running for president; the other, not so much.

    You make some good points.

Sarah Palin did better than expected, but she still said nothing. Obama-Biden still has my vote.

I watched the debate from Australia with great interest. I’m amazed that someone like Palin is even tolerated in the USA. It all seemed to me like she was addressing a PTA meeting.

It’s very evident to me that we Australians are much smarter in choosing our national leaders than our American friends.

You’ve now got me interested in Australian politics.

While Sarah Palin is recognized for her skills in debating it should be noted that when she was asked a question outside of her knowledge base she talked about energy even although it had nothing to do with the question. She got flustered several times. She also had a lot of “crib” notes and could be seen referring to them frequently whereas Biden talked purely from his experience and knowledge. When meeting with foreign dignitaries a politician does not have “crib” notes.

You’ve just made the case why people should not vote for Obama, who can’t speak unless he’s reading from a teleprompter.

You know what depresses the hell out of me? This election won’t be chosen by informed people who actually follow politics – it’s going to be chosen by people who read Cosmopolitan, watch reality shows, parrot SNL’s jokes and think The Daily Show is profound political commentary.

That said, I’m really surprised to find a celebrity blog with an even slightly right-wing angle. A few weeks back I went through TMZ’s massive blogroll to see if even _one_ site in there has a political viewpoint skewing anywhere besides left. Not one. A lot could be called “neutral,” but if they expressed an ideology they were all in the same direction.

When Sarah Palin was picked to be John McCain’s running mate, the liberal media attacked her, and her family, whereas we defended Sarah out of fairness to women in politics, and defended her family’s right to privacy, especially the underage children. Immediately after we ran our stories TMZ, who was one of our link partners, removed us from their blogroll, and all other blogs that were sympathetic to Sarah Palin. It was as Nazi an act as they come. We emailed TMZ, but they ignored our email. We get the message, they are liberal democrats who refuse to listen to republicans, or independents, who have an opposing point of view. Free speech is not supported at TMZ. Thankfully, our readers have increased dramatically since TMZ removed us from their blogroll. I guess there are a lot of people who want to hear the other side of the debate, not just the liberal democrat side. Since TMZ chose sides, there has not been a single day they haven’t bashed Palin or McCain. We respect their right to write what they like on their blog, but we don’t appreciate them trying to hurt us because they don’t like us defending an innocent woman. What does TMZ have against women anyway?

I thought they both did a great job. I felt relief with Sarah’s performance. I will definitely be voting for McCain-Palin.
