Its already been said that Mcain and Obama would have no effect on the financial outcome on Wall St., its a political ploy to get the old guy some props. The Mcain /Palin ticket relys heavily on the hey look at this shiny quarter distractions

McCain does? Obama’s entire campaign has been all show and no substance.

Start practicing it … Obama is the worst President in U.S. history, next to Jimmy Carter.

I think you mean next to Bush. Mcain has the same failed economic policies Bush had. Also Bush and Cheny totally abused their power almost like a dictator ship. i suggest you read the article on Mcain in the latest issue of Rolling Stone, you’ll see what a true Maverick he is, or should I say made-up Maverick, just a rich spoiled, no talent kid who was blessed with parents with connections and a charmed life. Mcain actually killed 134 of his own men by accident and didn’t help to try to save them, and broke the POW code of conduct to receive better treatment while captive and he is way angrier than Bush. The dude is scary plain and simple on every one of his policies, Mcain gets president the nightmare continues.

You should have a lot more respect for service men like John McCain, or anyone, who has been not only injured in war, but spent years as a prisoner of war. Whatever John McCain got after that wasn’t enough for us to pay back our debt to him. You are an ungrateful snot nose brat for even attempting to smear McCain’s service. Rolling Stone magazine is the last source on earth I would ever read to learn about important issues. Rolling Stone is an entertainment rag, just like Us magazine, with an extremely bias liberal agenda they don’t make any effort to disguise. You might as well be reading Nazi propaganda, and believing it.

Despite our obvious disagreement, we are all Americans, and we need to have mutual respect for each other.

  • Sarah Palin Booed at Hockey Game
Why is she at a hockey game anyway? Is it because she spent 15 million on a hockey rink in ALASKA? A place where they have plenty of ice and the 6,000 Alaskan residents had to pay 2 G’s in taxes for it? She’s pretty smart. Can’t wait to see her on the Sureal Life next year.
  • McCain – Obama First Presidential Debate
I don’t where you got your poll results but:

Instant poll results. CBS polled 500 undecided voters. 40% said Obama won, 22% said McCain won, 38% said it was a tie. CNN’s instant poll of 524 voters had Obama winning 51% to 38%. MediaCurves had a focus group of Independent voters. 61% said Obama won, 39% McCain won. The Luntz and GQR focus groups also said overwhelmingly that Obama won.

  • McCain – Obama First Presidential Debate
McCain has the EXPERIENCE and the EXPERTISE to lead us toward better times.

Uhh, if you mean spending more lives and money at a war going nowhere then he’s you’re man. There will be no victory in Iraq, no matter when we pull out, noqw or in 10 years, it will crumble as soon as we leave. Mcain seemed very condescending by his “you don’t understand” remarks, it was like an old bitter man scared of new ideas talking to a kid, and he didn’t look at Obama once. Look if you want an old badger in the office, with no new ideas or ways to improve the U.S. then I guess John Rambo’s your man. I’m for talking with country’s that already hate us, which is the majority of the world and new ideas. Obama’s intelligence outways Mcains war gameplans. I thought Obama was great and Mcain was with the same ol’ drivel. All Mcain knows is war and unfortunately being a President you need to know alot more than that.

  • McCain Palin 2008 Are Hard to Resist
Wow, what a non-consertive pic, Mcain and Palin would totally be against this and send me to Jesus school to wash my eyes out with holy water for looking at it.

“Obama has had too many crooked and criminal friends…. will he only want to help a select group or will he help all Americans”?

I think you already know the answer to this one.
    God bless.

I like McCain. He’s had a lot of experience as a Senator verses the “Name to Fame” Barack Obama, who’s fame was his book! He only served 184 days as a Senator the rest of the time he campaigned.
Actually Sarah Palin is more qualified for President than Obama is.

And it is my understand that Obama and Biden voted for the bridge in Alaska that’s been called
“The Bridge to Nowhere” they voted for it. So, why does Biden throw that little comment in at the debate with Palin about the “Bridge to nowhere. Sarah was at first for it and then totally against it once she really understood fully about it.

Also it is true that Biden said he would be McCain’s Vice President candidate at one time, even though he wasn’t asked. I saw the video on television.

Obama is a good speaker he has charima , but no substance . I think McCain has a lot of substance. I can’t figure Obama out having the preacher that preached against “White folks” and Obama attended there for 20 yrs. and acts like he never heard such a sermon ever, impossible to believe. I think Barack Obama will say anything to get a vote.

McCain warned of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac around 2004 . This was the time that regulators asked tough question to those that ran and worked at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and they were screamed at and told that everything was fine and to leave them alone more or less. Regulator could get no help to stop the situation then which mushroomed into the economy crisis of 2008.

I hope everyone really looks the situation over and decides on which candidate they want.
Obama has had too many crooked and criminal friends…. will he only want to help a select group or will he help all Americans?

ok, so it was an ‘opinion’ piece but still utterly shocking. i live in sf and am surprised this would even get printed in such a liberal town! amen that you continue to find and post such things in the name of true democracy (because lord knows, our liberal media is not doing their job as far as being ‘balanced’ is concerned) so keep up the good work!

  4. Jill says:

FYI, it was CRUCIAL that McCain go to Washington as his vote really and truly WAS the deciding vote. AMEN someone is doing the job they were paid to do as a Senator! That’s truly putting COUNTRY FIRST.

It’s got to say something spectacular when San Francisco, a predominantly gay and open city, endorses McCain/Palin over Obama/Biden.

I couldn’t have said it better – Bring Honesty and Integrity Back to Washington!!! Vote McCain!

  5. Craig says:

Great comments HG! Way to balance out the completely biased media left entertainment industry. You’re gonna get more and more viewers!

  7. Gary says:

    provincal,
Clinton was a Governor and cheated on his wife.
He was a President and cheated on his wife.
Tell me what was McCain when he cheated and what had he gone through? Have you ever cheated? Have any of your best friends ever cheated. How many senators or Representatives have cheated? Do you really want to start a debate on this issue? I think you had nothing to say so you let your fingers over run your brain.

  8. provincal says:

LoL, didn’t have to say it because you’ve been carrying that torch all this while through all your articles and have yet to even mention McCain’s infidelity.

    ***HG says***

Have you read everything I’ve written on McCain?

  9. provincal says:

‘As John McCain says “Country First.”’

Yeah…I wonder where that little saying fit when he cheated on his wife.

    I think a correct observation would be;

As John McCain says “Willy First.”

    ***HG says***

You’re a hypocrite. Why didn’t you say that when Bill Clinton was cheating on Hillary Clinton?
