Ryan Seacrest Upset Angelina Jolie Wouldn’t Answer Questions
E!’s resident red carpet monkey Ryan Seacrest is not pleased with Angelina Jolie giving him the brush-off when he tried to interview her at the Golden Globe Awards Monday night. Seacrest, who was covering the event as part of E!’s pre-show, went off on Jolie on his KIIS-FM radio show in L.A. on Wednesday morning.
“I asked her four questions and she didn’t even answer me,†he complained. “I literally stood there and tried to ask a couple of questions. At one point I just kind of let the E! microphone sit in front of her for a second to see if she was going to acknowledge it, and she clearly wanted nothing to do with me or my question or my answer or any of it.â€
Seacrest was more forgiving of Jolie’s other half, Brad Pitt, who was standing next to her during the interview and did most of the talking. “Brad was fantastic.â€
The host went on to praise the actress for her charity work, but complained about her dour expression on the red carpet: “I think doing good is fantastic. A lot of people are benefiting around the world from their doing of all of these nobles things. But smile."
Cohost Ellen K then came to Angie’s defense saying, "Well, she has said that she finds all these award shows a waste of time and money."
"Well then don’t go,†Seacrest shot back. “Don’t go. Don’t go support your man. Don’t go."
If I had been in Seacrest’s shoes, and found Jolie to be cold and unresponsive I would have asked her, "Does it make you uncomfortable being here at the same time as Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston?" If the couple didn’t get upset and walk away from that question I would have asked, "How do you respond to people who say you were cheating with Brad while he was still with Jennifer, and that you stole Brad from her?" If Jolie is going to blow you off, hit her with the tough questions.

Ryan you are soooo annoying. Angelina had just lost her mother to cancer, she had a right to be quiet. Not every celebrity wants to be the center of attention. Give her a break!
OK, Ryan, I don’t dislike you, but get real! Stars are human too, and there’s often something more personal brewing beneath the surface. I lost my mother to cancer a while back, and could not think straight throughout her short illness, knowing I’d be on this earth without my beautiful mother very soon. I can imagine that, since Angelina’s mom was sick for a very long time, it’s been tough for her to keep her chin up all this time in the press, and I admire her grace and restraint on the red carpet. It WAS her husband’s night, after all. I only hope that in her growing wisdom, Angelina will one day forgive her father for indiscretions of the past. There is not one of us who isn’t flawed in some way, and I hope she will recognize that and open her heart to him before it’s too late.
Perhaps Angelina was going through some stuff times. Supporting your man and at same time thinking about your ailing mother. Maybe thats why she was a little standoffish. Boy! she’s stronger than I thought.
Angelina was asked stupid questions.. Seacrest should stick to the stupid antics on Idol. I have to say now that we know Angelia’s mother was gravely ill with Cancer the night of the awards show… and instead of being at her bed side. You were stuck having to tell Seacrest what you fed your kids for breakfast.. don’t you think you would be distracted and look like you wanted to be some where else too… ANYWHERE BUT THERE.
Ryan Seacreast is such a woman. Talk about overhyped celebrity w/o talent. Is he gonna cry?
Oh and Seacrest is an ass a waste of one’s tax money on him.. Boot him off American Idol and come on why would he have his own radio show his voice is irritating…So thumbs up for Angelina ignoring him..
I agree it was Brad’s night and Angelina the best actress ever didn’t try to steal any time from him. 2nd the fact that she doesn’t like going to award shows and yet shows up with Brad shows how much they love each other and should leave her alone!
If you watch the interview, you can clearly see she was acting appropriately. It was Brad’s night and she didn’t want to take his thunder so I believe people shouldn’t get sucked into this hype when there’s nothing there. Ryan Seacrest asked her questions that were completely irrelevant to the night. I don’t think I would have answered neither. At least she’s not being fake.

Asking who made breakfast and how many more kids they plan to adopt were stupid questions, I would have rolled my eyes and not responded either. Had he asked the other, more relevant questions, I bet she would have answered. How can they say how many they plan to adopt? Say she answered with “one more”, then it would be “they’re ONLY going to adopt one more” or what if the child they next select has a sibling? What do they say then– “well, we HAD to bring this one, too?” Frankly, I could give a shit WHICH one of them makes breakfast, especially when they can afford a chef. He could have asked her about the movie she just finished, the one BRAD was nominated for, or what movie offers she has next. Those would have been much more relevant. Seacrest is a twat, for the idiotic questions, and for bitching about a non-response to them. He has been in “the biz” long enough to know better.
She was cold, bitchy, and acted supremely superior. Brad must have had to get permission to answer some questions because he looked at at least once to confirm whether he could answer.
Now those questions would have been a lot of fun, I may have taped the show if he had asked the really important stuff, I can only imagine the look on Whorelinas face..LOL
