Reporter Throws Shoes at President Bush in Iraq

A reporter in Baghdad, Iraq threw both of his shoes at President Bush while yelling, "This is a farewell kiss you dog." Bush said later about the shoe incident, “All I can say is it’s a size 10.”

When Saddam Hussein took power he got everyone together who previously ran the country, he then named names from the stage, and each person was taken outside and shot dead. Hussein video taped the whole ordeal which was shown on PBS in the U.S. many years ago. Those remaining in attendance were opening crying and begging for their lives. The fact that President Bush has brought Democracy to Iraq is the only reason the shoe throwing reporter wasn’t taken outside and shot immediately. Long live democracy, and shoes.
