Rafiq Qureshi Cleared by Police for Trying to Sell Daughter
Rafiq Qureshi was cleared by police for trying to sell his Slumdog Millionaire actress daughter Rubina Ali. Nisar Tamboli, a senior police officer, said:
"So far there is no evidence of any offense, hence there is no registration of complaint and no arrest."
The report accusing Qureshi trying to sell his daughter prompted his first wife to make a complaint to police, and the first wife even got into a violent altercation with Qureshi’s second wife who cares for the couple’s six children.
As Qureshi said initially, reporters are playing games with their lives, and those reporters know they can get away with it because people like Qureshi are poor and can’t fight back.
