Pete Doherty Replaced with Karaoke
Pete Doherty failed to show up to the Shockwave NME Awards party last night, because he was "sick." Pete’s bandmates are used to this, so the drummer and bassist performed without him. No lead guitar? That had to suck. They tried to sing, and finally got a guy out of the audience, then a singer from another band to help them out. Why don’t these guys just hold an audition to replace Doherty like AC/DC did. Just keep Doherty in the band as a second singer so they can still milk the publicity. Sorry Pete, you’re drooling keeps shorting out the microphones.
