Peaches Geldof Overdose Blamed on Her Father

Peaches Geldof (19), who is the daughter of Sir Bob Geldof, is believed to have been given mouth-to-mouth resuscitation after Peaches stopped breathing for several minutes. The paramedics arrived at Miss Geldof’s home in Islington, North London, on Sunday afternoon (this past weekend).

A spokesman for London ambulance service said: ’We were called on Sunday at 4.45pm to an address in N1 to reports of a female patient taken ill."

The incident is being called on overdose. Her mother, TV presenter Paula Yates, died of an overdose in 2000.

After receiving emergency treatment Peaches reportedly began to yell at the paramedics that treated her, shouting: "You have to respect my privacy," before refusing to go to hospital and ordering them to leave.

Now Sir Bob Geldof is being blamed by a report for allowing his daughter to be swept up by the life of a celebrity, and not protecting her more from the negative influences that come with being a celebrity. In the picture above Peaches appeared at The Dark Knight premiere at Leicester Square, only 24 hours after the reported overdose.

Speaking of the Geldof kids, are the kid(s) from the Michael Hutchense/Paula Yates relationship (still) with Geldof? I understood that they went to Paula after Michael died. Poor kid(s), both Mom and Dad committed suicide. How’re they gonna grow up normal?
