Pax is Alive and Well

At 4 years-old Pax is really growing up fast. Angelina Jolie sent a required letter to officials in Vietnam to let them know how Pax is doing. PageSix reports:
This is the candid home photo Angelina Jolie sent to Vietnamese officials to show little Pax Thien is healthy, "funny" and loving life with his new family.
Angie says her son Pax, 4, has become a well-fed English-speaking big brother in the seven months since she adopted the Vietnamese boy initially described as "shy and dazed" with not much more than the shirt on his back.
"He speaks in full sentences and even tells great jokes," Angie wrote in a signed letter to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice, a copy of which was obtained by PageSix.
"He has bonded with all his family members and we believe he feels very safe in his home," the devoted mom says, writing the letter on behalf of her family of six, which includes adopted kids Maddox, 6, and Zahara, 2, and 1-year-old Shiloh, Angie’s biological child with partner Brad Pitt, 44.
"He laughs, sings, tells stories and is very fun to be around. He has a great sense of humor and is very imaginative."
Sent along with two candid photos of the happy toddler in a dragon costume and in a crisp white T-shirt and hat, the letter also says that Pax attends pre-kindergarten with sister Zahara where he has many friends.
"He loves to play outside and enjoys playing with toys that allow him to utilize his fine motor skills," she continues in the official Commitment of Periodic Report she sent to the Department of Justice in November, copies of which were distributed to the local media.
Healthy Pax, who spent his first three years living in a lonely, institutional orphanage in rural Vietnam, "has a very big appetite and [is] developing properly."
"He is a wonderful addition to our family," the Beowulf actress concludes. "We love him very much."
A Vietnamese website reports that under local laws, foreign parents are required to send periodic reports about their adopted child to the Vietnamese authorities for the first three years. After that, they have to send an annual report until the child is 18 years old.
Yesterday Pax and the family were out walking in New Orleans. The biggest surprise was Zahara walking on her own two legs.

I thought you were talking about the tv network—–
Well, just for the record: the costume is a *peacock*. My daughter wore the same one for Halloween. I am not sure how someone thought it was a dragon. Oh, well.
