Paula Abdul Says She Was NOT Drunk
TMZ reported that Paula Abdul had a martini yesterday before American Idol, but her publicist says "she never had a martini." Paula’s publicist sent us this email to set the record straight:
WRONG WRONG WRONG you idiots!!! She was not drunk. She never had a martini. TMZ had the smarts to take the false info down. You should as well. You don’t have a single fact to support your BS item. Take the high road for once and do the right thing. Lawsuits are costly.

Mr. Ballard, who is currently at the American Idol show, has agreed to give us a statement regarding Paula tomorrow, which we hope will clear this whole issue up once and for all.

Yeah, Paula doesn’t need a drink to act like a dingbat. She does it normally. In the Seacrest interview she gave every excuse she could think of.

Clearly Paula is on meds. Week in and week out, she stumbles, mutters and is completely incorherent. I love making fun of her…its literally ridiculous. I love it. Stop taking uppers, downers, or whatever anti-depressant cocktail some jackass prescribed you.

Yo, Yo! The reason Paula probably got confused and I’m surprised that a media site like this didn’t know this, but… all of the contestants sing the exact same songs on stage, in the exact same outfits before going live. This rehearsal footage is also what is used for the recap clips at the end of the show. The producer doesn’t have enough time to cue up all those clips and insert graphics, etc. otherwise.
So Paual did in fact hear both songs because everyone sang them moments before going to air!
However, probably something the show doesn’t want viewers to know about. Read the fine print peeps!
