Paris Hilton Makes Statement About Her Release

Paris Hilton has released a statement now that she gets to serve the remainder of her prison time in her plush home.

"I want to thank the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and staff of the Century Regional Detention Center for treating me fairly and professionally. I am going to serve the remaining 40 days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes."

"Fairly and professionally?" "Learned a great deal?" Hilton barely made it 72 hours in the tank and got released because of a non-existent rash. It’s good to see that you can still buy justice in this country.

This news really disappointed me. But, its not over yet. She could be sent back tomorrow depending on how her little hearing goes tomorrow. That might even be worse- getting out for a night then having to head right back to jail and endure ANOTHER cavity search!
Lets all hope justice is served!

I am appalled that Paris Hilton was released from prison today. The entire judicial system in America is a joke and Paris just proved it…She thinks others have learned from her mistakes? I think the ONLY message Paris Hilton sent is “I’M A RICH BRAT, MY FAMILY CAN BUY OR BRIBE MY WAY OUT OF PRISON- I AM ABOVE THE LAW b/c I’m a HILTON”…
A week ago some of the posts said Paris would do 5 days- I said “No-way she’ll be in jail for 23 days b/c at the time I still believed in our legal system…Not anymore…Can you imagine a poor person getting out of jail b/c they’re stressed and/or have a rash…
C’mon this is nonsense..I’d be delighted to do 40 days at Paris Hilton’s home- provided she’s not present…

yep money buys justice. just shows you if you’re poor or “average” in income you better not get in trouble.
