Paranormal Activity Tops the Box Office

Paranormal Activity has become a completely unexpected blockbuster hit. The movie cost a mere $15,000 to make, but has grossed almost $100 million in seven weeks.
Paranormal Activity is about a girl possessed by a demon, which has a striking resemblance to The Exorcist, except the story has a bit of an unexpected twist that has hit a home run with audiences looking for a good scare.
The Fourth Kind is about real case studies where people claimed to have been abducted by aliens, and it seems to be doing fairly well after one week, but it’s far behind Paranormal Activity.
It seems most people like to be scared, and nothing scares them more than demonic possession.

“Paranormal Activity” is about a demonic possession, not alien encounters. “The Fourth Kind” is about an alien encounter. “Paranormal Activity” is the scariest movie I have ever seen, hands down. Fantastic movie!
The word PARANORMAL kind of defines itself no?
I would never think ALIEN when I hear Paranormal, I think of exorcisms and spirits, not physical forms.

Why don’t YOU feel free to do your research next time? Check out the plot review for “Paranormal” on Wikipedia. It is NOT about “alien abductions.”
Both of these films are about Alien encounters, not demonic possession. Feel free to do your research next time or at least watch the trailers because they clearly mention alien abductions.
Jamie, its about demonc possession. How about instead of seeing the TRAILERS, see the ACTUAL MOVIE!
